What a disappointment this company has turned out to be! My wife and I purchased a newer home 2 years ago on LBK and Air & Energy had installed the AC unit that came with a transferable 10 year warranty. This is a vacation home so we hired them to do the yearly maintenance 174.00 per year to make sure everything runs smoothly and not to mention to keep our 10 year warranty in good standing. This is where everything went wrong. They serviced the unit 4-15-19 and we came over 4-18-19 and I noticed the air return looked really dusty, upon opening up, we found the filter was filthy and had not been changed. We stood there in shock as we own many homes that we have other companies across Florida do the yearly maintenance on and they have always changed the filter. So I called and left a very nice message for someone to call me to discuss...that call never came so I called 4-19 and ask for a manager. I was then connected with Bonnie who proceeded to tell me that they "do not change filters unless requested and they do not keep filters on the truck" really? its a 5.00 filter and to my understanding the warranty would be void if not service by a Trane Dealer...when I questioned her she became defensive and stumbled over her words trying to justify why they never change filters, it was almost comical (I was very nice to her) and for the record this was a standard 20x25x1 not some oddball filter.I also told her that all of our other ac companies we use change the filter with the service..she said "well we don't and we change 15.00 for a filter and many people do not want to pay that" again really..She promised me a call back today and that call never came.. Bonnie is basically useless as a customer relations person. For this reason I am posting this to every site I can find to let others know what to expect when dealing with Air and Energy of Bradenton Florida..

We received quotes from three companies. After some negotiation, Air and Energy gave us the best price for a Trane system. We were very pleased with the sales person and the installation team. All were very professional and pleasant to work with. The systems work very well. It was an excellent experience.

On 2/23/18 I contracted with Jesse of Air & Energy for a Kohler whole house generator. The installation was completed today, 4/25/18. We could not be happier with the service we received from A & E, they went out of their way to make the installation a seamless project for us. The Tech's who installed the unit were professional, very friendly to deal with and did a beautiful job. We were kept up to date on all installation activities by Lorna so we would not be "surprised" by work that we were not expecting on any given day. Air and Energy was one of four companies we requested estimates from and we have no doubt about our selection after the completion of the job. Our instincts were correct they are the best! Installation was done very well. Technicians were polite, on time and knew what they were doing. They completed entire job in one day and had no difficulty. Very pleased with entire process.

Always reliable, friendly, thorough, dependable, and professional. They have a great reputation around here. They are careful to explain everything they're doing, they don't try to upsell you. Definitely recommended, wouldn't use anyone else!

They didn't charge anything because it was part of our VIP membership so there was no charge. I supposed they could have changed the inside filters but I didn't ask for that. We have a history of using them so we've used them before. They did what they were supposed to do. I didn't find anything wrong with it.

They seemed to be very knowledgeable about what they were doing.

They did good with the installment but when they came back to fix something they said it was our fault but I think it was their fault. They came and serviced it and then all of a sudden the pipe above got disconnected and they said it was the storm that caused it. How would it get disconnected if someone wasn’t on the roof disconnecting it. We had to pay $100 to get that redone. It was $100 for about 5 minutes of work. He was not very pleasant. I would use that particular company but not the particular service man again.

A+ PERFECT SERVICE!  I cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Air and Energy.  Every employee that I came in contact with was professional, responsive to my needs, and willing to work with my schedule.  This is the most customer service oriented business that I have come in contact with since I moved to Bradenton six years ago.  The system was installed with no problems and works perfectly.  I highly recommend Air and Energy!

I had to to call Air and Energy back again because they gave incorrect instructions on how to operate the humidity air control. The humidity air control wasn't working as I expected as I didn't get the right information to use it. Air and Energy's price was very expensive.
