On 05/14/2014 we had our A/C equipment replaced by the AC Warehouse of Bradenton, FL, to the tune of $6,291.00. Since our equipment replacement, we have had to have the unit serviced for "not cooling properly" on 11/14/2014, 12/01/2014, 04/19/2015 (which was to maintain our original warranty through annual service), 06/01/2015 for repair work, 06/07/2015, 06/08/2015, 02/01/2016, 02/20/2016, 02/22/2016, 03/23/2016, and 04/11/201; where they extended return plenum into attic, built a new mixing box, run a new 14" flex from new plenum to new mixing box, reconnect 20" flex into new plenum box and upgrade 14" supply flex with 16" flex from supply plenum to first mixing box. They also replaced low pressure switch and evaporator coil in unit extended copper line set to exterior so new txv bulb can be mounted outside of cabinet. They also replaced blower motor module with new. On 04/14/16, they re worked S/A resealed the duct work after I had to call and complain about the cold air leaking into the attic and the trash the service techs left in the attic. I still have photos of the temperature blowing cold air leaking out of the duct work into the attic. Once these repairs were made, we were informed that the work they performed, and new parts installed were going to be warranted for another year. Upon this poor treatment, my husband attempted to meet with Duane, the owner, and an appointment was set. He took off work 1/2 day drove to their place of business. After waiting nearly 2 hours, the owner never arrived to meet with him, even after his employees called him and told Duane that he was waiting for his arrival. Att this time, I wrote a scathing reviews and placed it on their website blog, Yahoo, Yelp, and Facebook for all to see. They contacted us after they had performed all of the repairs and the unit appeared to be functional, to request that we remove or rescind the complaint. I told them, if had they provided professional service for us to begin with after spending over $6,000.00 dollars on junk equipment and poor service, I refused to take this off of the site, and they have since blocked me from going to this site. On Friday, 10/14/16, our A/C unit is not working properly AGAIM. My husband called to have them come out for service, as we are well within our one year warranty. He had to call back an hour later and was told they would no longer be providing service to our home, and have our account flagged as "do not service", even though we still have a warranty pending with them. Obviously we had to contact another HVAC contractor to come and service our unit. Upon their arrival on 10/15, they found the coil to be leaking terribly, and it is unrepairable. We now have to dump more money into a unit sold to us by AC Warehouse, that should be under warranty. We have contacted various new resources, the BBB, and the manufacturer (Rheem). It is best to STAY AS FAR AWAY FOR A/C WAREHOUSE AS YOU CAN. They are a bad company. With repairs the cost just keeps increasing!!
