I asked Robert for an estimate on some work at my house. He gave me a very high estimate about a year ago. He later called me admitting the offer was too high and offered to reduce my price by 25%. I decided to wait to have the work done. In the interim he continued to follow-up with me about the work. So on March 10, I called him back to let him know that I was again interested in repricing the work. He first called me a liar when I recounted our previous conversation to him. Then he said he could only do the work for the same price as before. I asked him to explain the costs to me so I could understand why it was so much. He couldn't effectively explain the costs to me. I felt as though I was being scammed so I told him that we will seek out other carpenters and we wouldn't be using him and I said goodbye to him. About 15 minutes later he sent me a text berating me and ultimately told me to "shove this job up my a*s". DO NOT USE HIM!
Description of Work: I asked for an estimate to install a wood laminate floor in my 2nd bedroom and on wainscoting and crown molding in my master bedroom.
