"Took an old deck apart for the customer which turned out to be larger than expected. Spent 5 days in the rain removing it. The last phase was to remove old wood. After cutting up a large portion and transporting to the street for pickup I took ill. Again deck is down, most of the wood is cut up and removed. Cannot give a refund after investing 5 full days of labor and I apologize that I was very ill and couldn't finish removing old wood."

"Client didn't have any money to pay the bill therefore I could not return and do more work which was needed because she could not pay. I even discounted the first visit by $100 because that's all she had. Client upset because I would not return and do the work for free and let them make payments, I cannot afford to finance customer invoices."
