I found Palm Beach Pool Doc through Angies list. Adam and his team are awesome! Over the past several months of service, Adam has been helping me get the attached spa up to working condition after being neglected for several years. He is extremely knowledgeable and prices are very fair against his competition. I will continue to use Adam for all my pool needs as he always responds to my texts and does a great job!

I had a clogged mainline as well as a high phosphate content in the pool. As always, Pool Doctor is amazing!! He always teaches me something new about how to maintain my own pool when he comes out.

Adam the owner has been great. He has replaced the pool heater & made other repairs. He has even gone over & opened the gate for the landscaper before we moved in. We live out of state. He is honest & hardworking.

He was very friendly and willing to explain my entire pool system and what services he would give my pool weekly. He also was very helpful and willing to stop by the house several times for extra teaching and services.

Adam is great! Easy to talk to and he knows his stuff. He has been cleaning the pool at our house for over a year. He also changed out our broken pool pump and switched out our unsafe drain covers at the bottom of the pool. Pool is always clean.

Not well. Don't think he knows what he is doing. I am sure 3 weeks is plenty time to fix the problems....after he was done, we paid him for the month, even though he only worked 3 weeks. We paid him for extra chemicals that didn't work, and we continue getting billed from him. Not happy with his service at all.

They come out and really care about our pool. The people Adam hires are solid, reliable chaps who work to do the best job they can. Adam prides himself on customer service and it shows both in the quality of the service we receive and in the character of people he hires.

Do not use anyone else for your pool service!! We have used 3 companies over the past 12mths. During that time we have had our pool GREEN and have had the gate left open and our dogs were found running the neighborhood. Everyone promises you everything initially and then lets you down. Our pool has never looked better. Its not only blue but the pool gets brushed every time and the filter is washed out. We never have to wonder if the pool guy came by as the pool is left immaculate. Fantastic Company and would recommend them to anyone fed up with poor service! Thank you!!!

I will know better next week. I'm presently out of state and a neighbor called to tell me the pump was runing all day and night.

Palm Beach Pool Doctor Inc. is a small business, something I like. The owner, Adam, was extremely attentive to problems that arose after I had bought the house and moved in. The former owner was a DIY so I had to start from the beginning to find someone who would help me since I knew nothing about chlorine pools. My first call to Palm Beach Pool Doctor was to come and adjust the chemicals after very heavy rains during that week (the pool was beginning to show signs of yellowing.) Adam came the next day. He adjusted chemicals and thoroughly cleaned the pool, noting several other issues. We then mutually agreed on a monthly serviced ( $100 per month for weekly visits to keep the pool sparkling.) In additionr, it took several days for me to notice that the pool pump was not shutting down at night. I checked the timer and everything looked ok, until the next day I saw the timer hadn't moved. I immediately called Adam again and he came out several days later and replaced the timer,. ($180). I think this company is going to be just great for me as I move forward with moving to this area. Thank you, Adam, for your help and I look forward to a a long business relationships!

I have never before known an Angie's list provider to purposely insult customers. This provider slips extra charges onto the bill and will go weeks without cleaning your pool if they choose to come by in bad weather. I took care of my pool for years with no problems, but due to back problems and stressful life events, along with a broken vacuum hose, I lost control in the heat and the pool got very green. I decided that since the back problems seemed to be sticking around it would be time to start having monthly pool service. I called around for bids on either just fixing the problem or doing it and providing monthly service. Adam's offer was unbelievably inexpensive. He said he had a chemical that could fix it right away for $40 and then it would be $70 for monthly service. I was very impressed that he had me email our agreed terms so there would be no confusion about the terms. The email I sent said this: "t was a pleasure speaking to you. I am very impressed by your positive Angie's list reviews and hope to add to them. As we discussed my pool is quite green and the bottoms needs a great vaccuuming. Walls are still fairly clean and water otherwise clear. You suggested we will need a phosphate treatment for $40 (possibly less a $4 angie's list coupon) and will commence monthly service at $70 a month (or up to $75 if it is a problem pool). You said you could get started tomorrow. I waited all day for him to come, then he showed up as it was getting dark and starting to storm. Since the weather was bad he did not clean out my filter and just threw the chemicals in and left. He told me I should leave the filter running overnight. That evening I was concerned to see that the filter was so clogged that the pool was completely stalled out. With a bad back I did not really want to keep cleaning the filter out myself but since he would not come back for over a week, I was left (with his knowledge) to keep cleaning out the sludge caused by the chemicals he put in the pool. I will say that the chemicals worked very well, and I highly recommend whatever he uses for green and other algae problems that was very impressive. I was stunned to receive a bill for charges that we had not agreed to but he did agree to postpone the charges he had not warned me about. They cleaned the pool exactly twice. then the guy showed up a day early in bad weather and left me a note saying he could not clean the pool because of the bad weather which is understandable. However, when I emailed him on the 31st to say it had now been almost two weeks since the pool was clean and it looks very bad, Adam responded by insulting me and refusing to come back and clean before I paid for the next calendar month.

The pool had not been maintained by the previous owner for a few months so it was completely green with algae. Adam (the owner) came out himself, put in shock treatment, cleaned the filter, scrubbed down the pool & spa walls and floor, and then showed me what to do over the next few days. Even when I had questions later, he was readily available and professional when I called him. Great service.

He is great and takes care of pool and let's himself in.

Beyond the initial diagnosis service call, I hired him to fix air leaks caused by plumbing & valve issues.

I am very happy with Adam. I have not had any problem with anything since he took over.

Call Mr. Armstrong monday late, came tuesday. Did demolition and removal. Thats new pump, good warranty, re-plumbed. Working great.

Adam is prompt, conscientious and thorough. If an issue arises he takes care of it. Adam does not nickel and dime the customer.

They are extremely friendly and are always sensitive to my budget needs which is always a bonus working with any contractor.

Having dealt with lots of various contractors in the area, Adam was in the top 5% of all professionals I've dealt with. I called him late on a Friday, not expecting him to answer, but just to leave a message. He called back first thing in the morning on Saturday, asked the questions (answered some that I had), and was out at the property shocking the pool back the next Monday. He called while he was there to let us know what issues he saw and what needed to be done on our end. He went out a few days later to fix the plumbing. We arrived in town that afternoon and the pool was already 1000x better than it was after two supposed treatments from the previous pool company we had tried to hire that said we needed to drain the pool, acid wash it, and argued that it hadn't been maintained in 6+ months (it was less than 1 month because the tenant didn't take care of the last month of his lease). His rates were very reasonable. He's punctual, professional, and easy to work with. I highly recommend Adam... Great job so far and looking forward to him maintaining the pool moving forward.

I had made an appointment with Adam a day or two prior to his actually having been at the house. He didn't show up, so i gave him a call. He was confused as to who I was and thought that he had already taken care of my pool. I clarified the situation for him and he realized that he had not in fact done so. I had mentioned to him in our initial conversation that I wanted him to take a look at two particular problems while he was here and they had to do with the leaking pipe that I mentioned earlier and a general inspection of my pool heater. To his credit he did say that he really doesn't deal with heaters but that he could refer me to someone, should i so choose. The leaking pipe was something that he said he could take care of but did not mention to me that would be extra until he was already here at the house. I paid him because I'd rather the matter be resolved than not. When he rescheduled me, he put me in at the end of the day and it just seemed like he was in a real hurry to be done with everything. The cleaning out of the trap by the pool did not happen but the trap on the one pump that was leaking was. Overall, I can't say that I'm impressed and I get that it's a $39.00 Angie's List "deal" but I just wasn't impressed.

He is very efficent, very outgoing and one can get right away he knows what he is talking about. We really enjoyed his visit and his subsequent visits since.
