NOLEN'S CONSTRUCTION, INC.

The estimate was reasonable - comparable to several others but I opted to go with Nolen construction because I had gotten to know Mr. Nolen over several years (He is a neighbor.). There were several delays caused by difficulties obtain the siding (a special cedar plywood) and the hurricane windows when they were promised. Otherwise, the work progressed regularly and was done with exceptional care and skill. Several unanticipated areas of termite damage were discovered and repaired. Once everything arrived, the carpentry work was soon finished. One of Mr. Nolen's skilled workers (the painter) refused to spray the house preferring instead to put two coats of stain on the siding by hand. This took time but when the job was done, it looked terrific! In short, I was very pleased with the outcome in all respects, even though it took longer than planned to finish the job.
