I walked into the carpet department to get information on carpeting 3 rooms. No one, even though I saw two sales associates in the department, came to me ask if I needed assistance. I would probably need carpeting that would cost over $1000. They obviously are not interested in my business.

The salesperson was very helpful in my finding what I needed.

They are good.  They have efficient staff in their store who are very helpful in explaining how to do things.  What I like about them is when you use their card you get a 5% off in anything you buy.

They were late, but they called.They showed up and finished the job that day.

On Jan 9, Lowe's sales specialist Tom Shirley got the ball rolling. He told me that I would hear from the estimator within the next two days. The very next morning, I received a call from Ron, the estimator who cheerfully and politely made an appointment to come by when it was convenient for me. He was right on time! A few days later, the quote was prepared and the order was submitted when we went to the store and made payment. We were told that the carpet would come from the mill and that we'd be contacted when it arrived; probably ten days. Eight days later, we got the call from Ron that our carpet had arrived, and again he cheerfully and politely made an appointment to come by for the installation that was convenient for me. Again, he was right on time. For the install, he brought an assistant who was also cheerful and polite. They moved the bed and dresser from the room, tore out and removed the old carpet and pad and installed the new carpet and pad in less than 90 minutes. After we inspected their work, they then moved the furniture back into the room, vacuumed up the scraps and even asked if there was anything else that they could do before they left. The next day, I received a follow up call from Lowe's asking if the job had gone as expected. I am a very happy and satisfied customer! The carpet looks great, the pad is soft and luxurious and the install was flawless. I have tried in the past to trade with local businesses and was reluctant to go to a "big-box" national retailer. My experience with the local guys has been less than stellar. I'm glad that I went to Lowe's Boynton Beach!
