Rentals - Equipment, Boats
After giving my credit card and authorizing a $500 deposit, we unfortunately had an accident with limited damage. This merchant used the approval code from the $500 deposit and managed to charge my card $7300 on the spot, even though the limit on the card was only $3500. (No estimate or basis for the $7300 and the jet skis were not worth that much as they were both 2005 models). Note that both of these jet skis are being rented out right now after a little bondo and paint. There was no instruction on operating the jet ski, only on speed in the wake zones. Hence, the key instruction that the throttle (gas) was required in order to turn the jet ski was not given. If this instruction were given, the accident would have been avoided.
