Within five weeks, Barry called me and said Paul would be over to start the job. The windows were very impressive.
They were built by a company called Innovative Window Concepts LLC. or IWC. They are located in Boynton Beach, FL 33426 Ofc. 561-493-2303 and their website is www.4iwc.com. Their windows are very strong and they use 7/16 thickness glass, which is impressive. Most companies use 5/16.
Paul spent two days removing the old windows and installing the new impact windows. He did a fabulous job and was very neat and tidy. He cleaned up the work area thoroughly each day. It was not an easy job, as he was working alone, and the windows were heavy. He was very personable, a nice guy, and very talented. He took away all the old windows and trash in his truck. We were were ecstatic with the outcome of this job. We had a slight tint on five of the windows and we kept clear glass on the kitchen window. The windows are terrific for sound proofing and for keeping the cool air from escaping the apt., in addition to protecting our unit from a hurricane.
Within a day or two, Pompano Beach sent over an inspector, who signed off on the permit and all was well. Attached are a few photos of the new impact windows. They are so strong and are rated as "large missile." Barry came over and we settled up and the job was complete.
A few days later, I called Innovative Window Concepts LLC. to thank them for the construction of such terrific impact windows. It was a pleasure speaking with Kathy and she was very helpful, as I asked her about cleaning and caring for the glass. She represents their company in fine fashion, which I greatly appreciated. She also sent me a brochure called the Maintenance Cleaning and Care Guide. They are lucky to have her.
So, if you want a complete and thorough job, on the installation of solid impact windows, please call Barry Grieper at Global, 954-439-0882. He also installs doors and accordion shutters. You will be very glad you did. He has my 5 star recommendation!

Everything went very well and we are very happy with the installation. Barry and Paul did an excellent job and we love the upgrades. The doors, along with the windows, that we did earlier, keep the noise out of our condo and the doors and windows are more sturdy than the building.
