Geek Squad - Best Buy

We up graded our smart Phone through Best Buy. They took care of the entire transaction with Verizon. They sold us a warranty plan For $10.59/month. They neglected to tell me that I had similar coverage through Verizon that had to be cancelled. I had no idea that I had coverage which was carried over from a previous Verizon phone. I only discovered the redundant coverage when trying to reduce my Verizon bill. The Verizon plan is about half the cost of the Best Buy plan. Although I realize it is 'buyer beware,' I felt since I had redundant coverage, and I wasn't warned , Best Buy, knowing from their computerized records that I was a regular customer of big ticket items, would at least offer something to help me. Their attitude is 'not our problem' and my view now is 'not your customer.' They are probably legally safe, but loyalty goes both ways and they have none. It took several times over a period of weeks to contact them, as I gave up after being on hold fore more that 10 minutes on a number of occasions.

Pair of Geek Squad professionals were knowledgeable and quick. Measured area, installed Mount, and installed TV on first try. Then drilled hole in cabinet to run cables from coaxial outlet down to inside cabinet. Cleaned up mess. No problems afterwards.

If you're going to get a phone get it at Best Buy because the kids really know what they're talking about. They really understood the product and could help you with it. I didn't like that you have to wait a long time in line to get to speak to somebody. We also got our last phones from them too.
