This is a typical warehouse store.  Nothing fancy.  Bare bones.

When we first came in we asked a cashier for directions to a certain department.  She pointed to the signs on the ceiling and acted like we were stupid for not seeing them.  This was our first time in the store and we did not know the layout.

We went to the section we were interested in and I was approached by a sales rep.  She seemed distracted and contradicted the information that we had found on line.  (Trust me when I say my husband knows how to do accurate research.).  When we questioned her information she said "We sell a lot of this stuff and people would not buy it if is wasn't good."  Very rude.

The two  other sales people we spoke to were much nicer.  Although, we spoke to 3 people about the same product and got 3 different answers.  So training is a problem with this store.

We found a product that we liked and were directed to the "installation department".  This department consisted of two men sitting at a card table and talking on their cell phones.  From the moment we sat down they tried to up sale us.  When I mentioned to one man that his partner talking on the phone was very confusing for me, we were the ones who had to stop our conversation until the other guy finished his call.  Honestly, he was on his cell phone, he could have gotten up.

We bought a sample of a product we are considering and left.  When we got in the car my husband and I turned to each other and said "No way."

If you know what you want, they do have very good prices.  But anything more than going in, filling up a shopping cart and leaving is a disaster.

We will not be back.

Everything went fine for me, I would highly recommend them.

This is a store for the person who doesn't require a fancy showroom...it is a box style facility. We have purchased 20and quot; floor tiles, plank for the bathroom, subways for kitchen backsplah and shower tiles. They have the largest selection of tile, no waiting for ordering tiles, very low prices and great design ideas.

My first visit in May, 2014 to Floor Decor for flooring in my Highland Beach home was very nice. A gentleman explained everything I needed to know about the way flooring is made and installed now and the benefits of different types of wood flooring. I contracted the job with a Floor Decor approved sub-contractor. The work was delayed due to mold under the laminate, and, by this time, I had gone up north for the summer. The problem starts here. The floor was not level in one place-about 1/4 in. over 3 ft. and was told by the contractor that the floor needed to be fixed before work could commence. The company offered no help with regard to a contractor or referral to remedy this. In August, I went back to Florida to finish the job. A representative of the original flooring company came to show me the problem. He suggested that I rip up the sub-floor, shave the  joist lengthwise so that the sub-floor would be level. He could not suggest any contractor to do this and suggested I google "floor leveling." Aside from violating building codes, I searched for a simpler solution. I went to Floor Decor 3 different times and was ignored, given sarcastic answers, showed smiling faces that said get out of my face, told to wait while someone talked to their wife about supper, and received no help nor referral to mitigate the problem. It took 2 visits to get a copy of the order, the second time being asked by a check out clerk why did I want it. There were some missing items and was told the sub-contractor picked them up. The sub-contractor said no. 
Long story short-I contacted Quantum Floors on Gateway. Nicholas came to the site, said no problem. I sent all the flooring back to Floor Decor for a refund, fired the sub-contractor, hired Quantum Floors, and the job was finished in a week.

I recently purchased Travertine tile for a bathroom floor, walls and shower (the $1175 from above) and today went with a friend to look for the same items in porcelain and to look at laminate flooring. Each time we have been at this store we were delighted to have employees who were most helpful and who steered us in the right direction if our inquiries were not within the scope of their experience.

They have an enormous selection available and if you're not certain what you want you can purchase samples and return them after you've made up your mind.

I would highly recommend Floor and Dand eacute;cor to anyone.

I was impressed with the selection of tiles available. We placed an order for tile to be shipped from California. It was supposed to take a week to get, but the manufacturer dropped the ball. It took 2 weeks to get it in.
Management responded well to my inquiries, and notified me as soon as it arrived.

Bought some tiles but decided to return it within 30 days. They won't refund you if purchase is over $250. They claim check will be mailed from corporate office. Its been 2 weeks and still no check. I spoke with Steve and said its not his problem, talk to corporate. SCAM!!!
