concrete repair
+ -1 moreThis job was a disaster from day one. Because the original surface of my pool deck was not prepared to accept the new surface properly, the new surface application did not work. After almost 18 months of phone calls, I had to get the district attorney involved with this job. He helped me get Mr. Mazo to install pavers over his botched concrete surfacing. The pool deck is complete now but my nerves are shot. This man scammed me out of $2700 dollars and then I still had to pay another $1600 for the paver job. I feel that I was taken advantage of by someone who did not educate himself on how to do a proper resurface of my pool deck. He thought I would give up because I am a senior citizen and a woman alone. He underestimated me and I'm happy to be done with him. Mr. Mazo completed the job at the end of June 2007.
Description of Work: Mr. Mazo was hired to put a new decorative concrete surface on my existing pool deck. The original pool deck surface was chattahoochi stone. He applied the new surface but it did not bond to the old surface and his workmanship was extremely inferior. The original work was performed in October of 2005. Within just a few weeks it was chipping and peeling off.
