CHROMA GENERAL REMODELING

He claimed 17 years experience and training in Italy where he learned all types of plastering and extensive skill. The problem was that Gil didn't do any of the work, when I did see him there he was only supervising a MUCH less skilled worker. The "finished" walls did not match the existing walls and additionally, 1) left glaring evidence of the seam between the old and new, 2) used too much plaster so that while drying it would crack, 3) left a 1/2" bead of plaster on the wall where the old wall connected. The price was originally agreed to because he claimed that the new wall would be 1) done in three days (it took 11) 2) be perfectly indistinguishable from the other walls Gill failed to deliver on any of the promises and did NONE of the work himself. I recommend that anyone thinking about using Gil or Chroma reconsider. Additionally, Gil was also recommended by a TOP rated Angie's List company just like the other review... I will be speaking with the other company and hopefully he will be aware of the experience I had and he will reconsider the recommendations he makes from now on. I will try and add photos of the work as initially completed, Gil did come back and try and fix the job but it was little more than bandaids on a bad job. My painter had to complete the job before he painted.

This company came recommend to me from another company that I found off of Angie's List. I was very pleased with the work and would recommend them to others.
