Chicagoland Carpet Cleaners

Description of Work: I had a Groupon certificate for which i paid wha should have been l/2 price of total value of carpet cleaning for my l bedroom condo. I scheduled one month in advance & took the morning off of work for this service & both emailed & called to confirm the time/date. When the person did not show up w/in the hour that was reserved, I called the office and they sad their machine was broken & that I'd have to reschedule until another time. I told them that was completely inconvenient as I'd moved all my belongings accordingly to accommodate the cleaning and would have to take off an additional morning of work for the service. They tried to push me until later in the week and I pressed them to do it the next day since I had company coming later in the week. They had to borrow another machine in order to do my carpets and then when hje finally arrived (at least an hour late), he was very unpleasant and over-charged me on extras so I ended up spending 2x what I have paid in prior years. The office person, Didi, was fine but the cleaner whose name I could not understand, was TERRIBLE. Just based on this experienc I will never use and/or recommend this service which unfortunately for them I have my carpets cleaned on a regular basis so have lost a recurring relationship as well as any new referrals.
