BLUE STAR HOME INSPECTIONS

He was thorough, responsive, and had a sense of humor.  This is the second time we used him and we would definitely use him again.  If you don't mind a bit of humor and dubious boundaries, we highly recommend this inspector.  He did a good job pointing out all the issues we need to be concerned about and making us aware of the positive and negatives.

I have been using David Riffle with Blue Star Inspections for longer than I can remember. As an Exclusive Buyer Agent it is imperative that I recommend inspectors that are thorough, detailed, and knowledgable about all aspects of homes and condos. David is very knowledgable about current building codes and violations and spends a considerable amount of time inspecting each residence, writes a detailed report complete with photos of each deficiency, spends time with the clients taking them through the operations of the home and advising them on health and safety issues. David researches the permit history on the properties in advance of the job and can identify immediately where work on installations on the premises are lacking the appropriate permits. He is very reasonably priced to come back and reinspect before closing where his expertise regarding repairs is critical. I also use David to coordinate the pest inspection and provide wind mitigation reporting. It is so convenient for him to provide all three services while he is at the premises. It saves me time and aggravation and I get all the reports shortly after the inspections have been completed.
