Long office waits. Ordered tests without my approval. Unorganized office.

Some of the Doctors who were called in on consult had no idea of the complexity of my medical issues, came to erroneous conclusions and when confronted refused to address the issue. Only one of the nurses would I give a positive rating to. Because I have been in the hospital 26 times I think I have some knowledge in this matter.

Dr. Jaffe and his nurse Jackie are very helpful, listened to my symptoms and examined me. They also did some blood work.  I was prescribed some medicine and he had me schedule a follow up appointment to be sure I was better.

This practice is WONDERFUL in every way.  I have had some major heart problems and I cannot even imagine anyone better than Dr. Rachel Eidelman.  She has taken care of all my needs and also my mother's cardiac needs.  Whenever I have been hospitalized, Dr. Eidelman has been there to help me through it.  She never rushes you through an appointment and takes time to address any questions and concerns. She works with other specialists and my primary care doctor to coordinate my whole health plan. Her entire staff learns from her to be caring and give the very best medical treatment. She has gone above and beyond for me and my mother many times by making sure we were hospitalized properly and she met us at the hospital. Dr. Eidelman is highly skilled in cardiac issues and has even given seminars at Bethesda Hospital on Heart Health. Every appt. in her office has been prompt and thorough.  The office is spotless and a comforting and inviting environment. I have dealt with her nurse Peggy for echocardiograms and ekgs and she is highly skilled and caring when she administers the tests.  Her Office Manager, Judy is also top of the line in handling billing and appointment issues with me.  Even new staff take right up with the same caring attitude and make you feel special to be in their practice.  I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Rachel Eidelman and staff for your cardiac needs.

They have new machines there that are very good. They emit low radiation, are digital and are not as uncomfortable. The woman's center is very progressive. They were friendly, efficient and have some of the best radiation machines; their equipment is very advanced.

Although I waited 30 minutes to see the doctor, it was worth it and I don't often say that.  He asked about me personally, my background, but more importantly, he described the surgery in detail and what to expect after.  I cannot recommend this surgeon highly enough.  So glad to have found him.  If you have to have a general surgery, this is your doc.
