New owners took over in the summer of 2011. Communications fell apart, service suffered, frequent turnover in pool techs, unsolicited, overpriced and unnecessary parts were replaced and overpriced labor charges ($85 per hour) were invoiced. Efforts to resolve billing issues proved futile with threats of putting a lien on my property if payment was not made immediately.
I now go to Leslie's pool for supplies and do my own pool service.
"Customer received many/several repairs to his equipment with no labor/service charges. Service for pool service was $100.00/mo. The first time we sent a bill for a service charge he requested, customer cancelled service. He cancelled service at end of month and then did not want pay the final months service bill of $100.00 claiming he already paid it. We waited 5 months patiently for payment without charging a late fee. Our service rate of $85.00/hour is average for pool repairs. We are competitive with other companies in the area. Our right to lien property was more than justified due to 5 months of non-payment. After we invited his attorney to meet with us the customer finally admitted to being wrong and paid. Olen Miles"
