Atlantic Granite Inc

Atlantic Granite bid on an approx $14K job to do kitchen and bathroom countertops and committed to specific timelines to win the project. First, they were almost a month late and left the job never finishing after I paid them in full. My mistake because Ive read other horrible reviews that suggested they did the same thing to others. The quality was also below average. When I finally threatened them on finishing the job they suggested I get another contractor to do it and they would reimburse me. Surprise... they never reimbursed me and never responded to my calls or emails. Sleazy operation

Terrible poor quality, no dialogue, very unprofessional. I'm now going to replace the countertops with someone else. I now need to replace the countertops that they just put in with someone else. My suggestion is don't go there I'll get someone else.

We have purchased from them in the past and found them to be both professional and fair priced. We had shopped at both big boxed stores and a smaller private store before returning back to Atlantic Granite. They have a small show room but the owner, Carrie, handles all the sales personally. Their showroom is a tad messy but that's OK because their prices are 30% cheaper then
anything that we got anywhere else. We saved more than $2500.00 and the job was fabulous. My wife is a retired interior
designer and has dealt with many vendors in the past. Atlantic Grantic work is top notch. The men came in 4 hours to remove our 
old granite counter tops and install the new quartz ones. They cleaned up behind themselves and took all the trash with them. The only thing left for us to do is have our plumber reinstall our faucet. I would recommend Atlantic Granite wholeheartedly.

Initially we were very pleased with their work, the counter tops were beautiful and the workmanship was excellent. They were not very punctual, and changed the installation date twice which really was not a problem because they let me know in advance. The problem was that they did not stand behind their work. We were assured several times that the granite was sealed and would not need to be treated or resealed. The color of the granite began changing and darkening and even a wet cup left on the counter top would leave a stain.(If you lift the cutting block which sits on the counter, the area under it is a completely different color) I called them several times and spoke with the owners, but no one came to see what was wrong. The owner actually screamed at me during one of the calls and told me that if anything was leaving marks on the counter it was my own fault for leaving oil on the counter, I explained that there were rings left by plain water as well as the overall color changing. He told me he would make an appointment to come see the counter top, but did not callback when he said he would to make the appointment and stopped taking my calls when I tried calling back. Had they stood behind their work, I would have used them again. I am now in the process of looking for someone who can possibly restore the counter top to it's original color. I am also looking for another company to make counter tops for my bathroom.

My experience with them was satisfactory. I wouldn't say it was excellent because they were not prompt when they were supposed to be here.Sometimes they didn't come when they said they would. Their workmanship made up for all of that. They did a wonderful and beautiful install. Their prices was very good.
