 + -1 moreI have spoken to nearly every employee that works there because of all the phone calls and visits and in the process have discovered the root cause of the responsiveness problem. They have no tracking system for their work nor their technicians. They take on new work and confidentially give estimates to customers with no intelligence on what exactly their current workload is, nor their technician availability. It's all a guesstimate. From there, they clearly don't work on jobs first-in/first-out. It's random according to the daily orders of Ben, the owner. A nice guy, I might add, but the way they run their shop is just random chaos. I nor anyone I know will ever do business with them again. Incidentally, Leader TV was outstanding - what a difference in customer service and quality of work!
Description of Work: Had them out to troubleshoot an intermittent issue with my television. After the initial visit they gave me the estimate, took the control board out of my TV and said they would be back to reinstall the fixed board within 2 weeks. This began four months of me having to call them, sometimes every day, and getting conflicting stories and excuses. After finally coming back and reinstalling the "fixed" board, the technician discovered there was now something else wrong with the board. At this point he lost his patience and just about literally tore the board back out of the TV. We later discovered this caused the yoke to be disturbed. After many more phone calls, I discovered they had effectively given up on repairing my board and it was sitting on a shelf because one of the ICs they needed was no longer available. I got on the phone and the net and scoured the country and found the parts for them. Weeks later they said they needed to send it back to the manufacturer, but didn't have box big enough to ship. Given the dimensions, I immediately got a box and personally delivered it to them. In the end, they reinstalled the board, the original problem being fixed, but now the picture was severely bowed. I complained and they insisted that was normal "wear and tear" and typical. I had to hire Leader TV to come out for an additional $200 to re-straighten the yoke. $600 and 4 months later I have a working TV again and this was only because I took control of the project and called and visited them nearly every day for the last month.

 + -1 moreAfter a month they told us that to repair our TV would cost in the neighborhood of $500 so in other words not worth it. I just felt that we were taken advantage of. They should have told us that upfront.
Description of Work: Repairman came out looked at our TV. Charged us $95 service call said that the parts to fix our TV would be in two weeks.

 + -1 moreA B C Electronics Corporation does wonderful work on our appliances, but they are not very responsive. They don't call back or keep in touch. I had a part come in for my television, and they never told me.
Description of Work: A B C Electronics Corporation fixed my television. They needed to order more parts and do more work, but they haven't called back.
