They were competent, but very expensive. It was $375 for, like, a 10 minute job. Everything else was fine.
Our dishwasher had stopped working. Fred had it going within 30 seconds (no joke he reset the computer). Then he told us that if it happened again in the next month to buy a new washer since this one is 15 years old. To replace the computer on this machine would be over $200 and we could buy a new one for under $500. What kind of provider looks to save you money and not make the next sale?
While he was here we also had him look at our microwave and replace our plastic washing machine hoses with metal hoses.
We had been using another appliance repair service that we were very happy with. But A-1 came so highly recommended we decided to give them a try. Now we will use no one else.
Oh, and Fred said he would be at our house about 4 p.m. At 4 p.m. on the dot our doorbell rang.
Let me tell you, they don't get any more honest than Fred Kaye.
