Andy was a true professional. Answered all questions thoroughly and he or his staff replied quickly. We received quotes from at least 5 companies and he had the answers we were looking for. Roof looks great!!

Do not use this company for anything, they installed the roof membrane incorrectly causing our roof to leak several times. We were told to hire a contractor to repair our interior damage since they were too busy and now do not want to reimburse us for our cost. They are constantly harassing us with phone calls to pay the remaining balance, but will not credit our account with this outstanding cost to us. This has been going on for way too long.

On 13 Mar 2023, I contacted Angi Roofing, LLC d/b/a Total Home Roofing, specifically Chris Anderson at 407-622-9799 to inquire about having my roof replaced to my home located at 7645 Daetwyler Drive, Orlando, FL 32812 in efforts of obtaining homeowners insurance. After months of waiting and continuously trying to reach them, I was finally quoted $14,844.00 to be paid at 12 months no interest and 9.90%APR thereafter, after the job is completed. I was given at least four different “estimates”, with the latest being dated 09 Jun 2023 which is the day the job began. The job was “allegedly” completed on 13 Jun 2023. The company had agreed to arrive to start the job 08 Jun 2023 but did not actually arrive until 09 Jun 2023. Since 08 Jun 2023, Chris Anderson has failed to respond to all attempts made to contact him regarding my complaints with the roof to include but not limited to: the roof being flat in an area that was supposed to be inclined as per the permit obtained. The job that was “completed” has yet to pass an inspection which has cost me an increase to my mortgage as I cannot obtain insurance without the roof passing an inspection by the county (Orange County Florida). The inspection has failed three times with zero response or resolution from Angi Roofing, LLC d/b/a Total Home Roofing. It is now 04 Sep 2023 and I have yet to receive a response or resolution to have the work completed to pass a county inspection however, I am receiving lien threats via mail. I am being expected to pay for work that is not completed to Orange County Florida standards. I have been very transparent, open, respectful and communicative with Angi Roofing, LLC d/b/a Total Home Roofing and my expectations for the work that was to be completed. Throughout every step of the process, I have reached out addressing my concerns both before the job commenced and after. Per the estimate I signed, I have made all efforts to have the issues mitigated and have been met with zero results.

Well it went very poorly. This by far is the worst experience I've ever had with having something done to my home and property. If you read my review at Total Home Roofing you'll see more details which I will not go into right now. Just know that this is definitely never a company I would recommend to anyone even my worst enemy. They're workmanship or I should say lack of workmanship is unbelievable. And worst of all they do not stand behind what they do. They did finally after months and months redo the work that they did only because it was leaking. But they will not stand behind anything that gets damaged in the home because of there negligence and bad workmanship. Approximately $2000 to $2,500 worth of personal items damaged and the vice president tells you they will offer you $200. Yard sale items for items you can get on eBay. These items were personal items that never would have got damaged if it wasn't for that negligence and poor craftsmanship. It's a sad sad country we live in when companies are allowed to function in this way. The people running this company should be ashamed of themselves. Things happen in life and mistakes are made but people should be held responsible.

Do not use, and if you do, do not allow them to work with your insurance. Contracted at a signed agreed price. Work was started before a rain storm & caused interior water damage. Did not complete punch list items to complete the job. Invoiced to match insurance payout instead of contracted price. Filed a lien on the house and assigned a debt collector. Awaiting resolution. Save yourself the trouble, hire someone else.

One contract “gotcha” added $3k to project. SF rate jumped from $2.56 on plywood board to $40 a SF for 1 x 12. Contractor failed to cleanup driveway. Buckets of tar, numerous boards, rolls of underlayment, many nails left in driveway. Foreman didn’t not answer questions regarding status of job, I deducted the job was complete when I saw the crew collected the wheelbarrow, and then I knew they intended to leave the rest of the equipment. I got a response on Tuesday morning, they considered the job done Friday night, but left the dumpster and all supplies on my property, and failed to inform me work was done. My wife and I believe they installed the wrong shingle, they cannot provide a materials list to show Estate Grey was installed, and not Quarry Grey.

Day after hurricane, my neighbor says her son does roofing and that he is going to take care of the neighborhood. I was in hurricane shock. I was still recovering from getting long Covid in July 2022 and then the hurricane. I really needed to be in good hands and I thought I could trust this company especially from where the referral came from. Logan Briggs, of Total Home Roofing came to my home and literally yessed me to bits. He never explained anything and I was unsure what to ask since I never replaced my roof before but I know I asked about shingle colors and he looked at me like a dear in the headlights and yessed me again. I showed him where I had a leak in the master bath closet ceiling and asked him if he took care of that and he yessed me again but in fact they do not do that type of work. Me being in a fog forgot about filing an ARC form to the HOA about the roof replacement. The ARC form provides a place to put all details and ducks in a row for anything exterior in the community. Without me even filing an ARC form the roof was replaced in November 2022. My HOA should have been more attentive because the company did not provide any details, or proof of insurance. The people who replaced the roof did not show up until the afternoon and worked well into the dark. Whereas, other roofing companies tarps were secure everything about Total Home Roofing and anyone associated did a poor job. By the time, the roof was replaced the tarp was ripped to shreds and not providing much of anything. When I mentioned this to Logan the day I demanded attention because the roofing crew was throwing my old roof on my turf because they did not have a dumpster yet. Everything about this company says poor quality. I asked Logan, what happened to my color and he just shugged his shoulders and blamed my HOA for not permitting any other color but this is so far from the truth. There are many different colored shingled roofs in the community. Total Home Roofing could care less about making sure the customer needs are met let along the customer wants but they expect to be paid whether the customer is satisfied, or not. Total Home Roofing is all about the next roof. This company stressed me out enough where I said enough and waited until they wanted to be paid to make a complaint because it is the only time they returned a reply. Because the company was so complacent, my imagination took to the worst. I accused Logan Briggs of signing an AOB form because I had trouble getting my insurance check issued. It has been an unnecessary battle where I've had to become an expert in roofing to understand my roofing needs which Total Home Roofing did not provide. When my roof was replaced, I noticed that I had a completely different ventilation system than my neighbor three doors down who has the exact same home design as me and paid the exact same price. There is no uniformity in the neighborhood for ventilation systems for the same house design when Total Home Roofing replaced their roofs. In one of the rare emails responses, I received when I asked for specifics for my builder who offers the ten year structural warranty, Who approved the materials? There were no HOA ARC form requirements, so where does the approval come from? My HOA has been accused of having special relationships with vendors before and this may one case in point. Please see the email communication below and again please notice no salutation. I have no idea who I am communicating which is par for the course regarding this company branch. How can I be sure the vents will be installed and placed properly, and be of high quality with screening? I worry that my plywood was not replaced from where Total Home Roofing removed my original off ridge vents. Why weren't these vents installed in the first place? Why didn't I get the color shingles I wanted? The salesman blamed the HOA when the HOA supposedly didn't care and have anyone submit anything for approval. Simple answer, company no care about customer and has to care about meeting budget. If a few customers are scrimped on to make budget apparently so be it.

Effectively, 5 years after the installation of a concrete roof, there were leaks. Total Home attempted to blame the leaks on the Fascia and gutters saying that total rot was reasonable. Turns out the rot was 20k of damage into the beams, significantly higher than the gutters. Their own inspector came out and blamed the flashing for being too short, when I asked him if that should have been identified before they just dropped a roof on it, his response was, “yeah, probably.” 4 other roofing companies acknowledged and provided reports that it was a faulty installation. The nails used are also rusting off. I’ve tried to follow up with Brian the president who has ceased all communication and is openly disregarding the warranty. Hate to get the highest quality roof and just end up getting scammed by a shady practice.

Angi “Total Home Roofing installed my roof on 1/9/23 which had four consecutive failed inspections thus requiring an engineer’s approval. Angi “Total Home Roofing” then hired an engineer who wrote a false affidavit that he inspected my roof and it was “structurally sound; “ which he later withdrew after I contacted and asked when he did the “alleged inspection.” My roof is still not up to standard and permit is still open and did not pass. I have tirelessly reached out to Angi “Total Home Roofing” to resolve my concerns and I was harassed by staff, attacked verbally, and subjected to continual ongoing verbal abuse and demeaning remarks and a statement from crew supervisor, staff members and Manny. This was Manny’s response in group text on 4/19/23: “The bottom line here is that the decking from The top did not look rotten and it doesn’t help that there was Old underlayment that left a lot of residue Nails allowed water to come in and the water collected in the bottom but there’s no way that our roofers would go to every attic and look at every piece of decking and see if it’s bad or not. From the inside This person was an impossible complicated person from the beginning I’m not surprised we are here She needs to calm down and if she wants to change that plywood do it so calmly but we will have to charge her. These are the no-win situations that we deal with.” I am requesting that someone from the corporate office reach out to me via email. These remarks by your staff is a defamation and assassination of my character and are demeaning and unwanted harsh personal attacks. Manny’s behavior is unprofessional, aggressive and abusive and is not fitted to handle customer relations; no paying consumer should ever be treated in this manner when voicing valid concerns and dissatisfactions. This is not acceptable customer service.

I gathered five estimates for a new roof in the winter/spring of 2022 for a 1,400-square-foot home in Orlando. The lowest estimate was around $8K and the highest was $17K (from a home improvement chain). I settled with Total Home Roofing as their estimate came in around the mid-range at $11K. I explained to their salesman/estimator that I needed the estimate to take into account what I believed to be extensive subroof damage and literally pointed out the large area on my roof where I expected it would require extra labor and supplies. I asked him to please build this into his estimate. His response was to plan for an extra $2K in overages. So I secured a loan for $13K. THR sent their crew to strip away my old asphalt shingles and once the roof was off... SURPRISE... they discovered extensive damage that would bring my new total to just under $18K! Of course, they gave me the option to decline as long as I was ok having a roof that was exposed to the elements. The roofing work itself was adequate and nothing exceptional. In fact, I see evidence where they may have violated a code by sandwiching electric wiring between a compromised rafter and new support rafter (which doesn't even span the whole rafter). Also, the crew was very messy and I'm still picking up nails and debris around the house a year later. I can't tell you not to go with THR. I can only say that if you are ok with an original estimate ballooning to over 60% of the original cost, then this is the roofer for you! Good luck!

Do NOT use this company. They are not responsive at all. It took over 4 weeks and many phone calls for them to tell me they would charge me to come out to look at my roof damage. Completely unprofessional. I'm sure this was poor workmanship as my roof is only 4years old. Beware of this company.

ROOFING: I selected Angi Roofing (and associated companies of Citrus Contracting and Total Home Roofing) because they were a trusted name and believed they would stand behind their work and warranty. Unfortunately, it has been the exact opposite, they did not replace rotted boards all along the back of the house as required and do not respond to my repeated emails and calls after they were paid and I discovered their shotty unprofessional work. I am extremely disappointed and do not suggest using them, their Warranty is fraudulent and any follow-up customer service is non-existent.
