Neil corrected all of the issues with the table and chairs.  Found out that the table and chairs were made of different types of wood.  This was going to affect how the new stain appeared on each type of wood, but  Neil was able to get the stain to match on both types of wood.  For the seats, Neil recommend a fiber board product that when stained almost looks like a leather seat.  Plus the cost is 25% of what leather seating  was going to cost.  Should I ever have any additional furniture that needs to be repaired, I will not hesitate to call Neil again.

Three chairs that were part of a Henredon dining room set we purchased in 1970 had some damage to the cane inserts in the back. Neil removed the old cane, installed new cane with the same design, and stained it to exactly match the original color. He had warned us that he might not be able to perfectly match the color, but he did an amazing job. Setting the newly caned chairs side by side with the originals, you can not see any difference. He completed the job a bit ahead of schedule and for the price he originally quoted. He is a true craftsman, and we were entirely satisfied with his work.

We were very happy with Neil's service. We were worried about the dining room table's stains. But they disappeared completely. The stain was a great match to our other pieces too.

He has been in business a long time. He was very professional and you could tell he loved and cared about his work.

He was very prompt in returning my call. We discussed the job and decided that he could do it . I drove the piece to him and he had it fixed in no time, a week before he estimated. Great to work with.

I'm so glad I took the chair to Neil to be repaired. He started from scratch in repairing the wood and replacing the bolt that connected the leg to the seat. He had it done in two weeks. I thought the price was extremely reasonable. I have another chair that needs to be repaired (same problem), and I am definitely going to take it to Neil.

The experience went very well. He looked at the chairs and explained what he was going to do. He told us when we were going to get them back and we got them back when we needed it. He did everything he said he would do and the chairs look fine. He did it within the price that he quoted us. It seemed a little high but based on what he said he was going to do it sounded like a lot of work and the quality was outstanding. He is an older person and has been doing this for 25 years but he was very meticulous and very reliable. He had got a high rating in Angie’s list that is the reason we picked him and I want to make sure that he keeps on getting high rating. His shop is kind of in a weird place with a bunch of other little shops but it is filled with antiques and upholstery materials.

It was great! He came to my house and picked up the chairs. I needed them back just after Christmas and he was able to finish the job in about 2 weeks and delivered them back to me timely. He also suggested someone else to reupholster them as well. We were very pleased.

He was honest and did a good job in his repair. He was extremely honest. He's had vast experience and use to have an antique shop of his own. He was very experienced with rattan chairs which was helpful.

I couldn't be happier. The table was part of a set that was my mothers.

They did great work. They were very helpful and easy to work with. I plan to use them again soon. They even included pickup and delivery of the piece from the shop. In the end they charged a very fair price.

Neil was very honest about what we could expect from the tables and what could not be accomplished. His work is excellent and extremely well done. These two tables are now usable. He performed the work in the time frames he set. He is personable, prompt and very experienced.

Neil did a fantastic job, and had the pieces back to me in a week's time. He told me up front that the repair would not be invisible, but for all I can tell, it pretty much is invisible. They were in such bad condition, I was about to get rid of the whole piece. Neil worked a miracle and now I'm proud to display the furniture again.

I have no complaints at all. They were very honest. I would recommend them to anybody.
