We are a fully operational tree service that provides tree trimming, tree removal, lot clearing, exotics removal, stump grinding, environmental mowing, mangrove trimming, and more. Our local farm offers purchase, pickup, delivery, and installation of new trees and hedges, as well as firewood, and planting soil. We are certified arborists enabling us to assist those searching for an arborist inspection, recommendation, and reports. And we are fully trained, certified, experienced, and equipped to assist with all plant health care including prevenative, diagnostic, and targeted treatment applications, based on your specific needs. They were outstanding. Crew arrived on time. There were 7 or 8 of them . They all knew what to do. They cut down three large pine trees in backyard, hauled them to the curb, chipped them up and cleaned up the area in less than two hours. There price was excellent and I would definitely use them again. I have used other tree services in the past, but Johnson’ Tree Service is the best.

Removed large oak tree and ground stump and large roots to prepare the area for a replacement tree and sod. Not only did they grind the stump but when they discovered a large rock beneath it they then used the grinder to prepare another hole a couple of feet away to allow me to plant my new tree. This is the second time I have used them and both times they have exceeded my expectations as well as being very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!!

Great, we used the firm last year for removal of a huge black Olive tree that went very well. Selected Johnson's tree service again based upon fair and responsive means to address estimate to doing the work. Very responsive professional crew came in and in a short time had the huge live oak trimmed and the Royal Palm high seed pods and Irma damage taken care of. Work completed with a nice clean up and with a special new machine they ground the stump down so that shrub can be planted.

I called them in the first place because my neighbor's insurance company threatened to hold me financially responsible in the event that any of my pine trees fell and damaged their home in a future storm if I didn't have them ALL removed. I called Johnson's Tree Svc and they explained that my trees were all healthy and there was no validity to the claim that I needed to remove any of them. I ended up removing one of them anyway (and another in a different part of my yard). I felt the cost was a little high for the first tree, but the other tree was cheap, so I felt the combination was fair. They did drive a little machine out back to carry out the logs, which dug up some of my grass plugs that were recently planted, but they were very quick and the workers were polite, professional, and cleaned up all the debris from the fallen trees.

Terrible experience! I would NEVER use this company again. We signed with them stipulating we would need to be notified when they were coming. I needed to move the vehicle and bring my cat in to safety before they arrived.. FAIL . I was awakened by the the sound of chainsaws and limbs falling around my vehicle. With an army of workers already in my yard ,I had no chance of finding my cat. My husband phoned "Dave" who let us know we were lucky he got to us at all! They must still be in Irma mode and used having the upper hand. He wasn't happy happy doing small potatoes job of 900+ dollars. We had called weeks prior and he had agreed to give us notice as to when he would come, he never mentioned the fact that he did not value residential accounts. If he had been honest we could have easily found another company. He did not fulfill his promise and was rude to boot. I still haven't found my cat and I am very upset about that. I chose this company on the merit of the Angie's List website, I'm very sorry about my choice.

"I posted the below response after you posted your first review which you obviously modified afterwards. I have proof that everything you said above is completely untrue. The work was in the back yard no where near the car, the check we have is for $800 and most of our work is residential. We called an hour ahead and your husband told us to proceed. So now all of this cyber stalking because you were woken up from your nap? Please stop harassing us before I am forced to pursue legal action. As soon as a customer approves a job to be done, we always tell everyone that we will be there "within 2 weeks" never after or over unless something really odd happens, like a storm. We were at your house 3 working days after we received the approval email telling us to schedule the work. We had an opening come up in our route yesterday, so we called your husband, the only number that we have on our paperwork and the only person that we have ever spoken to and asked him if he would like for us to go ahead and take care of your trees, that we would be in the area in another hour. He said yes, I would like you to do the work, my wife is home. The crew arrives yesterday around lunch time, knocks on the door and no one answers. We call your husband again to make sure that it was ok and he told us to proceed. When you came flying out of the house, angry because you were woken up, the crew stopped working and we called your husband a third time. We gave him the option to stop, clean up, and only charge for the time we had been there working, or to finish. We scheduled you for an hour and we had been there for 15 minutes at the time we called. Your husband, again, asked us to proceed and specifically said that he would deal with you. We finished the job, cleaned up, you gave us a check for $800.00 to pay for a job well done, and we left. This was the only thing that happened yesterday."

We were very satisfied from start (getting an estimate) to finish (cleanup/repair of one broken irrigation pipe)--which was hard not to break due to closeness to trunks. Very impressed with timeliness of crew, professionalism of the crew, work completed by crew. Will definitely use them again when need arises. This service trimmed some of the small broken branches that were left and others still remain in the tree, left a mess in the yard and broke sprinklers. The owner said they would be back to complete the job but never did. Supposedly the owner is an "arborist" but you would never know it from the poor job they did. I would never use this company again.

"We understand that you are upset that you had to pay to trim your tree because you thought the county would pay for it. That does not change the fact that we were hired, by you, to trim the tree and we did a good job. Yes, one small branch was left because a vehicle was parked there and we did not want to take the chance of causing any damage. The county never came out and trimmed anything as can be verified by a simple phone call since you were not in town at the time. And yet we still have not been paid for the work we have done. We did not break anything, we did not leave a mess. Please remove the parts of your review that are untruthful. It is unprofessional and simply unkind. Not just to us but also to other homeowners that use this site seriously."

If I hadn’t of spent the $350 the week before with the guys who done. They’ve cut down palm trees. They’ve cut down oak trees on the property in the past, but if I hadn’t of called them I guarantee you one of 60 or 70-foot oaks would have been right over in my house. That’s what a lot of people don’t do down here, that they have the real problems, is they don’t want to thin the oaks and when the leaves and limbs gets so compacted it becomes like a parachute. It just catches the wind and tips them right over. Well, I had them in here 4 days before knowing there was a hurricane coming and for $350 he cut a bunch of limbs down and he dragged them out to a chipper and blowed the stuff out onto the truck. When they leave you don’t find a leaf and they were here less than 8 hours and I had some additional limbs during the wind that might have been weak and broke off and hung. That’s what that other guy had to do was climb up 20 feet and finishing cutting them so they would fall on the ground and then take them out to all the trash that’s sitting there for the next six months. What I’m saying is a lot of people don’t want to thin their oaks. They don’t want to spend the money. Well, you spend the money. It’s pay me or pay me later. If you want one in your house, in fact the tree that went in my house was not mine, it was my neighbors, but I’m responsible for it. That’s called an act of God because if there wasn’t a house here, guess what, it wouldn’t have hit anybody’s roof. It would have landed on the ground. It wouldn’t have been no problem. That’s the way they look at it. Johnson’s is very good, and you might know I called them 3 times. I knew that they were going to be inundated and 2 days after that other company left, they called about coming over. You knew it was going to happen as soon as you get it done somebody you really wanted to do it called. It doesn’t mean they could have come then, they might have just put it in their schedule and got to it 6 weeks later. I either called them from work or called them when I got home, and they were here the very next morning. I called them on Monday and on Tuesday, I was at work and the goes I’m here and I said holy Christ I didn’t expect you that quick. I had to call my wife and say, well you’re going to have to pay him with a credit card. So, they were here the next morning and by the time I got home at noon, of course they were done in an hour. Everything was taken away, cleaned up perfectly. I was would give them an A always for everything they’ve ever done for me all the way down the line. I will definitely use them again. I may be using them very quickly because I’ve got one palm that got fairly destroyed. I’m giving it a chance to recover and if it doesn’t recover I’m calling them out. They already took 3 palms down over the years that have died of diseases so with this one being torn up the way it is on the top, I may have to have them come out and cut that off and grind up the stumps and plus they’ve taken down one big oak tree over the years. They’ve done a lot of good work for me over the years. And I’ve recommended them to people on here because we’re on like Home Finder or whatever it’s called. It’s like one of those internal websites so that everyone living in here can talk and say I recommend this guy and or do you know somebody who can do this and we’ve recommended Johnson, my wife is on that I stay away from it, but she puts these people that we use on there and we get some other ones from them.

If you do not trim your trees, the wind cannot blow through the canopy and the chance of them being broken or knocked down increases greatly. I think a lot of folks are reevaluating their home maintenance after this storm!"
