There were two guys who came out and removed the old cabinets. This went quickly and went well. They started sawing the new cabinets to fit the measurements. They then began installing them and this is when the problems started. After the first day, I pulled out the drawers and there was a tremendous amount of wiggle room, I would pull it out and would move from side to side in a very inconvenient manner. I brought this to their attention, and they said that they were still working on the project. As they were putting in drawers again, I again showed them how they were sliding and moving about. They again told me that they would fix this. This was two days that I told them about this problem. They told me the next day that once they attached the face plates on that the drawers would slide and working correctly with no side movement or wiggle I agreed because I am not a cabinet maker and I trusted them. They came back when I was not here and installed the face plates, when I got home, sure enough they still don’t fit and work correctly. I paid him his final check and he said to me that he would come back and correct the drawers and doors. When they came back to finish the drawers and doors and other additional things I found done poorly such as the screw in one of the cabinets that had made a divot in the wood work and a nail in a door way that was sticking out. They had done nothing but try to spackle the hole in the cabinet that looks really bad, they did not remove and put in a new nail in, they simply pained over it with white paint to conceal the error. Many of the drawers are so close together and rub against one another and not even centered correctly. This was a very poor experience, very schotty work, I do not recommend them and surely would not hire or work with them ever again. They did not replace the kickplate in front of the dishwasher

Contractor arrived on time, was very careful during installation.Work quality is very good. They had to deal with a few minor unforeseen problems with ease. They cleaned up after their work was done. I would highly recommend this contractor to anyone.

Wonderful craftsmen. From planing phase to final install these guys are a pleasure to work with and I am not easy to please.

Mr. Hall was very talented and constructed the cabinetry off site, using matching materials with the existing cabinetry.  This allowed little to no disruption in our daily schedule.
 
The work was completed over a year ago and the cabinet work still looks as good as the day he installed it.  Thanks for a great job!

Came when promised for estimate and did work in a timely fashion. In general they did a good job with the exception of one small area that did not quite fit right in the kitchen.

Jim Hall and his associate, John, did a wonderful job and went above and beyond expectations..  Their workmanship was excellent, prices reasonable and they were punctual and dependable.  These are 2 nice guys in their 60's who aim to please with high quality work.

Jim was available to start the job right away.  It took several trips to get precise measurements and then to install the cabinets.  Everything was done very professionally and finished beautifully.  I highly recommend J&J for their services.  And the pricing was much better than other vendors who bid the job.  Just a GREAT outcome at a very fair price.

Jim came out to my home, never contacted me again for prices on cabinetry. I called him and asked if he can give me a estimate and he never called me back.

 

I am not sure whey these contractors are on here unless they are just looking for easy jobs

This is a illegal company doing work and advertising in COLLIER county, this is a felony in the state of Florida and should not be listed in the collier county side of Angie's List, stay away from this unlicensed company

The laminate on two lower kitchen cabinet sides was damaged in a botched dishwasher installation. Jim agreed to take on this relatively small job after others declared it too small. Because this was an insurance claim, it was continually delayed. He also had to register as a "dealer" of the supplier of the replacement laminate, and he did all that cheerfully and patiently. He recommended that a third, upper cabinet side be replaced to make sure it all looked consistent, which I had not thought of. The replacement job itself went smoothly and quickly, and I am delighted with the results.

It went very well.  I was very pleased with the final product.  They were reasonable and they followed through, showed up when they said he was going to.  I just felt that they were the most responsive.

Jim Hall did a great job.  He helped us with the plan design, including some innovative ideas that worked perfectly with out intent. His price was very fair, even to the point where we passed on the 10% Angie's list discount.  The project took a bit longer than anticipated but this was due in large part to the need to order some special materials.  Jim delivered the unit in several pieces and spent nearly two hours assembling it to our satisfaction.  The workmanship is excellent.  The finished product is very professional and a perfect match to existing furnishings in the room.  I would recommend J & J to anyone with a special, hand built, project need.

Excellent quality and workmanship. Drawers are made to come all the way out, cabinets match existing cabinets perfectly. Kept to estimated time, was very precise about installation. I love their work and would use them again.

WOULDN'T USE THEM EVEN IF THEY PAID ME.

They were very professional and quickly got the job done.  They did it for a reasonable price and seemed to enjoy their work.  I would recommend them to everyone.

I looked on Angie's list to find a handy man in the local area that had the expertise to do this kind of work. I found several companies that i thought could do the job.after meeting with 3 contractors,and receiving 2 est. i decided to go with jim halls company (j.j. cab.),and am glad i did. From start to finish jim kept me informed of the progress of the job,and if we should change anything to make the remodel look better.The remodel was finished right on time,and right on the est. price.both jim &john are professionals at everything they did,and clean to boot. At the end of the project jim did a couple of small items for me in the kitchen that were not in the est. at no charge,thanks guys. PS I'm having then back this week to do more work.

They did a great job and were always concerned about not leaving things a mess when they left.  They installed new cabinets in our kitchen and two bathrooms.  They were always in a good mood and great to work with.  They were flexible as far as coming back and completing the job when we needed countertops installed prior to them finishing up.  I would not hesitate to use them in the future.  Very fair prices and top notch work.
