We decided to enclose our screen lanai in. Andy came to our house and showed us our options. Decided to go with impact windows. Julio and Derby performed the work. They were very courteous, very quite, worked very professionally, and cleaned up after themselves every day. Branden came by every day to check progress and answer any of our questions. Sandy from the office is also very knowledgeable and answered our questions also. So happy that we had this done. No more bugs, water on lanai, very quite and will not have to clean as often.
Response from Impact-Ready Inc
"Thank you so much for taking the time to review our work. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you on your lanai enclosure and we are so pleased that your are so pleased."

We used Impact-Ready Glass to replace 9 contractor grade windows in our home and to remove the old hurricane shutters and hardware. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the new windows and Impact-Ready’s work. The installation went quickly and smoothly, their installation team was professional, courteous and very skilled. We were especially pleased with the way they protected our home and belongings, cleaned up after the installation and removed the old shutters and hardware. We would definitely use them in the future.

The acrylic was a cheaper, thinner product than the 3/16" specified. The panels were measured wrong, leaving a 6" gap. There were no locking mechanisms or crossbars for stability. The track was installed incorrectly, with no drain holes, causing water damage. After many months of delays and excuses, I have requested a refund but have had no resolution and limited response from ownership/management.

Where to begin? They replaced windows on part of the house a year ago and did an excellent job. Therefore we hired them to replace the sliding glass doors. Soon after we signed up with a sizeable deposit, all communication stopped. We couldn’t get any information from anyone. When we finally went to the office to see if they were still in business, we found the order hadn’t been placed on time and the building permit never pulled. When the dust settled, the doors didn’t arrive until after we left for the season. They had to store the doors over the summer and were supposed to install at the beginning of October. They then delayed for another 2-3 weeks. When they finally came for the installation, the doors were scraped, scratched and the caulk was dirty. The glass in one of the doors was badly etched with something and couldn’t be cleaned. It eventually had to be replaced entirely. The installation was terrible - both crews caulked very badly and left a mess to be cleaned up and repainted. The only reason they don’t get an “F” rating is that the owner’s son stepped in, communicated effectively and arranged for the owner’s brother to repair the doors. He was here for 4 days straight, and the doors finally look better. We are now replacing the rest of the windows in the house. Due to our latest experience with Impact-Ready, we are using a different company.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed] - As you know, we use only our crew members to perform work, with the exception of specialty items, such as electrical. As a direct result of feedback from customers, such as yourself, we increased our response time, implemented a robust quality control and training program. This plan includes our project managers running point on each and every project personally. This has eliminated scheduling delays and installation issues. We apologize that this improvement was implemented at the end of your experience but want to thank you for taking the time to rate our overall performance. Very kind regards, Impact Ready, Inc. Team"

I did an initial project with Impact Ready where they replaced 4 large windows with 2 large windows. They did a very professional job (in 2014). I then had them replace the rest of the windows in the home in 2016 and they had untrained and unsupervised staff involved in the project. I ended up painting around all the windows outside myself and had a long conversation with the owner about it. He took off some of the cost which I was satisfied with (though I would have preferred they had done what they committed to with qualified staff). Two months ago I called them (it's been over a year since they finished) to let them know that two of the windows had turned cloudy. I then called them 10 days later and then again several weeks after that. Each time a call back was supposed to occur and each time they failed to respond. I asked to speak with the owner and was told that he wasn't available. When I asked them to have the manager of the team responsible for making the repairs call me back today I was told that I would have to wait until the owner was back. I'm not sure if this company is even viable at this time. I certainly would not use them again and would not recommend them to anyone considering having them perform window work.

"Mr. [Member Name Removed], Thank you for your review. We are very sorry you were not as happy with our work the second time, as the first, but we greatly appreciated your repeat business. Each crew has a lead project manager and I can assure you our work is supervised. I will request that the person most familiar with your brand of windows reach out to you to see how we can help."

They did the job, but did not pull the permits. I waited over nine months for them to correct the permit issue which almost prevented me from selling the property. The permit has still not been closed. I had to involve an attorney, they are clearly at fault and have been totally unresponsive. I am waiting on thousands of dollars in escrow to be released to me. They have caused me a fortune in time and money; it is still not resolved. It is also a hardship on the new owner who would like to be free and clear as well in case they ever want to sell. I will never recommend or use them again, ever.
Response from Impact-Ready Inc
"Ms. [Member Name Removed], I am sorry that it has been difficult closing out a permit we pulled in 2011. We had been actively working with Collier County to facilitate this long process. To be clear, your real estate attorney has been involved since we were first notified of the clerical error and this has now been resolved. Thank you for all kindness during this process it is greatly appreciated."

Well, since the hurricane everyone wants hurricane rated glass so neither the suppliers could keep up with demand. The project was delayed. However, the installation went extremely well. The installers were extremely professional and perfectionistic. The doors are fantastic. They have more glass and less framing than other brands. Andy convince need me that insulated glass is not needed in Florida do these doors are lighter than insulated. They also cost less! All the glass is LowE. It was stressful waiting for doors which held up our remodel. I’d definitely use Impact Glass again.

jAndy, the owner came to our Condo, His expertise helped us design our living room sliders so they opened the entire view and stacked into the wall. Formerly, there would have been three doors stacking in the last 1/3 of the window opening and blocking our view. The finished product came out just as planned. The workers from the company were very professional and courteous and made sure to address any concerns. There were some scratches on the living room door but these were corrected and Andy made sure to compensate . Thank You for a great Job. Deb

The sales process was fine. Wanted to do a demo, did not have time. I am seasonal. Windows shipped as scheduled. Project started as scheduled. Windows did not get installed with screens in proper positions as requested. Basically 3 units are inverted, screen on right side in lieu of left. The plugs to cover the screw holes were never installed. The window sill in living room was left unfinished because the mullions on the new window did not match the cuts on the existing stone sill on that window. One window has lost its seal, thus cloudy. After a few calls, found out the Project Manager was no longer with them. Amada (think that is her name) in the office is taking care of the plugs and warranty on the glass. She is very responsive. I am taking care on the sill on my own. I ended up using laminate to make a sill to somewhat match the old sill that was left uninstalled.

"At Impact-Ready Inc, our number one goal is to provide 100% customer satisfaction for all of our projects. Unfortunately, our newly assigned Project Manager had personal issues that developed after beginning his new job that precipitated problems we were unaware of. As soon as we investigated the details of his totally unsatisfactory performance for Mr. [Member Name Removed] he was terminated. Our General Manager is in the process of working with our valued customer to help resolve all of the outstanding issues as soon as possible."

Impact-Ready ordered custom windows and doors from CWS.  Some cement block work was done for the change in size of some of the windows and doors.  The block work did not pass inspections and they had to come back.   When the windows and doors came they had measured incorrectly and they had to cut some of the openings larger with cement saws.  They were grinding and cutting for two weeks.  The house was a mess.  Some of the caulk around the windows was 1 1/2" wide and some of the windows were 3-4" smaller than the opening and much interior trim had to be done after they left.   They had to come back to make adjustments because some of the windows and doors did not close correctly.  I have called the manufacturer CWS several times and they are very unresponsive and refer to to a rep that has never called me.  Some of the weatherstrip has fallen off the slider already and we have not moved in yet.  The threshold on the french door clicks when you step on it and is loose.  The locks on the doors are difficult to use and if you are not familiar with the locks you will not get out in a fire.  When all was done they called me several months later because they forgot to charge me $3,500.
Response from Impact-Ready Inc
"We are very disappointed by the comments of Mr. [Member Name Removed]. However, we must point out that he waited 6 months after the completion of the project to all of a sudden enter a negative review on Angie’s List. He never called the Sales Manager who contracted with him or any other key staff members to give them an opportunity to resolve his issues before publicly voicing his dissatisfaction. We were totally unaware of his situation. This is unfair to our company. We started the project, and when we removed old materials and existing wood, we discovered that the framing for us to connect to had to be re-designed at additional engineering cost and lengthened to make proper connections of our block walls to the interior home. Further, we absorbed the cost to add additional beam reinforcements. The inspector passed all of our new work. We at no cost to the owner had to cut and raise the height of a door opening that was lower than code would allow and that no standard door would fit. Further, window openings of mid-1900’s homes typically vary. So, we standardized again at no additional cost to the owner. The house was “gutted” by the owner prior to our arrival. The living room floor was dirt. It was 100% clear what the scope of the owner’s work inside was, including walls, ceilings, floors – not work associated with Impact-Ready. Impact-Ready is always ultra cautious to water proof stucco and finishes, so additional caulk to fill erratic existing voids was not a problem. The doors and windows installed meet and exceed all current building and fire codes. We did not receive any calls from the owner, so we had no opportunity to facilitate repairs. We cannot speak for CWS, but we have always been able to get warranty corrections done. We went back and corrected the things mentioned that we were aware of and will still correct any outstanding issues. At Impact-Ready Inc, our number one goal is to provide 100% customer satisfaction for all of our projects."

The work went fairly smoothly.  We had a great crew of guys working for us.  The project took longer than we expected initially, but it was right in line with what they told us when we signed the agreement.  There was some minor follow up work after the building inspector reviewed the job.  They had left some of the screens out and needed to cover the screw heads after the inspection.  There were also a couple of windows which had some minor defects.  Those were replaced with no hassle.  Everyone we interacted with was very helpful and kept us informed.  I would use these guys again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic company! Impact-Ready was the fourth company to come out and give us a quote on screwing in our front entry. The owner Andy was the only person to council us on the negative impact the screens would have on our house and suggested adding glass inserts. Elissa at the Naples showroom took over the project. After the quote for the inserts came in she suggested looking into full replacements. The cost for new doors was not much more than the glass inserts, and was a superior product so we decided to go with the new doors. The project manager JP was very professional and at the site and in contact with the subs every step of the way. The finishing work by their painter Mario was amazing. The whole process was fantastic!

Excellent quality in-terms of materials for windows and framing. I could also tell you that they clean up after themselves everyday. Which is excellent. The other thing is they listen to you as they are going through the process. So in the middle of the process you think you want to trim around the windows or something a little different they will do their very best to accommodate you. Maybe a little more price depends on what you decide on. I can really can speak more highly on them. I will hire them in a heartbeat.

.We contracted Impact-Ready on 2/9/2015 & placed a $ 2,000.00 down-payment for their services. We were contacted in late March with a proposal for installation on 4/1/2015. For our convenience, I suggested the following week, which was acceptable to both of us. The two installers arrived on time, as scheduled, (a two day job), & installed everything in a very professional manner. They were very accommodating  to our small special needs.
At the time we contracted the services, we were told of the expected time it would take for obtaining the work permit from the County, & obtaining the doors we requested. That turned out to be spot on.

This was the second time we used Impact Ready. They did a great job for us. Andy, the owner, once again explained various options and materials. The work was performed on time with no problems / no mess. His crew chief, Brandon, once again was super. Impact Ready is a first rate company. They may be more expensive but you get what you pay for and IR has the top of the line products and service. Highly recommend them.

I generally use a bidding process when undertaking work this extensive/expensive.  I did so in this case.  My first contact with Impact Ready was with Steve Jacoby.  He was thorough, knowledgeable and very professional in working with us to understand what the product would do for us, how it was rated, how it was constructed, the length of the warranties and what the cost would be.  He was one of 5 vendors that we met with.
We selected Impact Ready because we felt they had the best product and because they utilized their own installers.  They were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive.
The installation went very well.  The work impacted both the interior and exterior of the home.  When they first arrived (on-time) they put up plastic in the living area so as to minimize any dust from the project and they moved the furniture.
They worked quickly and efficiently and answered any questions I had along the way.  Nate and his crew took very good care of not only installing the windows but making sure that any area that needed to be caulked or  needed spackle was taken care of.
It was a sunny day when they did the installation which afforded us the opportunity to put our hands on the inside of the old window and new windows at the same time (they did one side then the other which is only about a foot apart).  What a difference!  Where the old were hot the new were cool to the touch and introduced very little heat into the room while affording us a wonderful view out the new windows (no longer looking through heavy tinting).
When they left they cleaned everything up and left us not only with very nice windows but with no indication that major surgery had been done to the home.
Within a day or two we received a call from the office checking on our satisfaction which was nice.
We've had the windows for a week now and they seem to be everything that was promised.  The room is much cooler and the view through the windows is excellent.
I would highly recommend Impact Ready for the quality of the product they sell, the quality of the staff they employ (not subcontractors), the warranty and the reasonable cost for the products and service.

As a previous Gov't Project Manager, I did my due diligence and solicited 3 bids from reputable contractors. Impact Ready owner, Andy, provided the most detailed scope of work, conveyed extensive product knowledge and enough commitment to the project to make me feel comfortable. Although, IR's price was actually the highest of the three bids, after much discussion, I felt that the phrase, "you get what you pay for" , should hold true.
IR foreman, "JP", was fantastic! A young, old school craftsman, paid attention to all details. He absolutely felt that he was totally responsible for the job. As lead mechanic, JP's multi-skills were an absolute asset on a job that proved not to be easy. I felt that he met each challenge, whether it was woodwork, concrete, tile or schedule constrictions with enthusiasm and dedication. Definitely not something you find everyday in an employee. The three other installers with IR on this project came together to make this happen without incident. They were there every morning at 8 AM (an hours drive away) and often left after 6 - 7 PM., with a minor break and short lunches, commendable in the August heat.
I actually waited until an independent Wind Mitigation Survey was performed before submitting my review to confirm my assessment of IRs performance. The certified inspector/contractor had said that it was "the best installation that he had seen in SW Florida".
So, the adage that, "you get what you pay for", held true for me.
