Gino's 5 Star Handyman Services

Warning about Lanai Screen and Handyman Vendor: Gino’s 5 Star Handyman Service I was initially pleased with the response and work done by Gino’s 5 Star Handyman Services in replacing the many screens we lost in Hurricane Ian. (We were more fortunate than many who had devastating losses due to the surge.) However, during the repairs, Gino Higuara’s team damaged some of my drainage materials, making them unworkable. On site, I pointed out this damage to Gino and he agreed that he would repair the damage, but could not do it on that day. He needed to purchase replacement materials and install them later. The charge that we had agreed to for this phase of my screen repairs was increased to cover the cost of additional labor and materials. Given his good service previously, I agreed to this increase. After a couple of weeks, I began calling him, texting him and emailing him. He responded that he would complete the agreed repairs, but he was very busy currently. After more weeks of delays, he continued to confirm that he would complete the repairs soon…the coming weekend was mentioned. On one call, he even said that he had the materials in his truck and that he would be able to complete the job very soon. Last week, after a few months, I called him again. He denied ever agreeing to do the repairs and denied all of the phone confirmations, emails and texts. I have several of these voicemails, emails and texts countering his claim of never agreeing to do the work. I would recommend anyone considering using Gino’s 5 Star Handyman Services to be very cautious in proceeding with any work with his company.
