DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATES-BONITA

We were very happy. We had the chance to be there at the condo over Christmas and it looked beautiful. My boy actually showered more than he had ever showered. It is nice having ones teenage boy nice and clean. It was an old 1972 beach condo and he took the bathtub out and a made a really nice shower. He popped up the ceiling more. It’s one of those adjustable showers. It is really very inviting . They did a nice job. The general contractor, the person that we talked to, Brian, was amazing. He was very hard working to get the job done. My wife only had two days before she went back to take our children. He did a great job of meeting us to pick the tiles out. He was very cost-conscious with us. It was a condo that we use only four or five times a year. We wanted it to be nice but we didn’t want it to go overboard. He was nice at that. My wife picked out all the tiles and she got what she wanted. She was really happy. We had all kinds of crazy price quotes. His price was good. We are planning to use him in the future. We are going to do our next bathroom in May.

I have worked with many developers over the years but Development Associates was the most responsive, and accurate that I have seen yet. They gave me an estimate and did not deviate from it at all even including some of my change orders without charging. (Don't expect that again.) I was expecting to be in town while the work was being done but because of a family emergency I had to be away the entire time. They told me of house problems such as roof leak and even worked with my roofer to have them re-roof the house. When my car developed an oil leak and they saw it on the garage floor, they arranged for the dealer to pick up the car and repair it! We communicate by phone and e-mail once or twice a week. They sent me photos and descriptions, and I described what I wanted done. Everything came out as planned or better. I visited my house this week to inspect the finished product and was very satisfied. Our final punchlist was less then half a page long, and I am very fastivious on things. Even some items that were not according to my description were redone to "make me happy."
