We hired Deerbrook because he was the original contractor on the house and made a good sales pitch as to how "on top" of their construction they always were.
Contractor has/had the following deficiencies;
1. Tried to overcharge by 3% of entire costs. Did not bill in accordance w/ contract.
2. Took 9 months to complete, when promised to be done in 4 months, then when not complete, repromised to complete in 6 months which also was a missed time.
3. Promised items that were not provided.
4. Provided and charged for items that were discussed, that were told we did not want, yet provided and billed
5. Quality was far from what was anticipated and was promised.
6. Was generally NOT RESPONSIVE to following thru with discussed items.
7. Has not responded to warranty items, per contract.
Contractor has the following attributes:
1. None
We have built/remodeled 4 home in last 20 years. Deerbrook is the only terrible experience. ALL others were great!
