We worked with Kirk House who was amazing and a wonderful person who worked with our insurance company and handled the project from start to finish. My initial exposure to ABC was through William, their Exterior House Consultant. He was working on a project across the street from my winter residence in Port Charlotte Florida. I asked him if he would be willing to inspect my roof for damages that were incurred during past hurricanes and tropical storms. William courteously agreed. From that first meeting right through to the final city sign offs, ABC proved to be a top notch, A plus contractor. Especially considering that much of the work that had to be accomplished had to be undertaken while I was 1500 miles away. The overseer of my house while I am away from Port Charlotte sent me photo and video updates almost daily. And although I have not seen the roof completion in person I am sure that it is close to perfect.  When I told William that I will not be back in Port Charlotte until the first week of January 2024 to review it first hand, he wrote me a response that said, â if at that time when you return, if you have any concerns or if you detect any deficiencies, we will take care of it immediately.â I would like to wholeheartedly thank William and the entire ABC organization for helping my wife and I through this roof replacement ordeal.  ABC, and most particularly William as the hinge pin , have been the most consummate professionals, right from the initial meeting to the finalized sign offs.  Every aspect of the project went almost exactly as they had predicted. From choosing and receiving new roof tiles, to removal of old roof tiles to waterproofing, to re-construction and installation of new tiles. From installing new gutters to keeping the yard and surrounding areas tidy during the entire process. And all being done at an absolute minimal inconvenience to my neighbors. It has been a pleasure doing business with ABC. I have the utmost confidence in recommending them.

They were fair and easy to do business with. The work was completed before schedule. They did what they said they were going to do. Roof is only a couple of months old , so far no warranty issues.

They worked cooperatively with our insurance company, provided prompt and consistent communication and kept their schedules and appointments with us as promised. Working with Patrick, our Project Manager, and Jordan, our salesperson, was a pleasure. They took so much off of our plates and handled everything. I had a great experience with American Building Contractors Inc from the initial meeting with Tom Chlupka until completion of my new tile roof . Tom was very knowledgeable, honest , and on point as to the timing of the project and the final cost . Derrick , the project manager was on site everyday and kept in constant communication with me as to the progression of the project. The roof is beautiful ! I would rate this business as a 10 if that was possible !

We have had the most pleasant experience with American Building Contractors from the very beginning. Glen Davis, Field Supervisor was extremely professional and responsive. Everything was explained thoroughly regarding our roof replacement and the process was seamless. A special thanks to Diane Casperson, in the office, for always responding to questions or requests in a very pleasant and timely manner. ABC staff were great. Came to house, explained exactly what to expect and they were right on the money. Roof replaced in about a week's time, passed inspection, completely cleaned up the area. No nails left behind. All staff and workers were professional, respectful and provided all work in timely manner. Highly recommend this company.

We had significant damage to our roof from hurricane Sandy. ABC did an excellent job installing a new roof.

Thank you ABC for making my reroof a painless experience. Gary and Andy were more than happy to explain everything that was going to happen and answered all my questions and concerns. The negotiations with the insurance company took some time but Robert at Merlin Law Group was also very patient and always made sure I knew what was happening. Once that was approved things moved along very quickly. A crew came in and removed the old roof in a day and a half with a very good clean up afterwards. I was not inconvenienced in any way during the process. Then, as soon as the roofing tile was available, it was put right up. The gutters were also reinstalled once the roof was done. I am very happy with the entire job and have already given their business card to some friends. I am a single woman and I never felt like I was being ignored or dismissed as some businesses do. Thank you for your diligence and honesty.
