I feel Tom is very honest and reasonable with pricing.  He knows his work and has been in the business many years.

They got me in immediately; drove me back to my office and the repair was completed promptly. I was very comfortable and plan to use them again.

He is extremely reasonable. He is very, very honest and his work quality is terrific. We highly recommended him. He has done everything from small jobs, where he won't even charge us. He has looked at our cars and just said I'm not even going to charge you and just helped with whatever we needed immediately. Where off course the bigger jobs he does have to pay, but we always trust him. We are very pleased with him. He is efficient. His prices are very fair for the work that he does. It's just really nice having somebody in automotive that you really can trust. We have no concerns with him. He has been that good with us. And we've used him for two years.

Tom's Automotive is one of those rare repair shops where there are good mechanics that can be trusted. I dropped my van off and asked them to try to fixed the gear shift that kept locking up in park. A couple of hours later, they called me to say they were having a problem recreating the problem I had described. I suggested ways to reproduce it, and they recreated the problem. They wanted to make sure that they understood the problem before they tried to fix it. Then they started looking for the cause. When they found it, they gave me a call and told me my options for fixing it. I told them what I wanted, and they made the repair.
While the van was in the shop, I asked them to do the regular service stuff, i.e.. change the oil, filters, etc, as well as checking the belts, radiator and A/C fluids, etc. I like being able to tell them to do what is necessary without worrying about being taken advantage of.

Needed trailer tires; called Mike; he had them the next day; installed them in a few hours, balanced the wheels and lubed the hubs all for the cost of the tires alone. Showed me how to lube the hubs myself.

They are great. Sometimes the final price is cheaper than what they quoted you on.

I woke up to find my left rear tire flat. I had a donut placed on the car an drove it to the mechanic and he replaced the tire. They could have gouged me on the tire price, but were fast ,courteous and replaced the tire for $75.00. I was surprised how fast they took care of me and saved me from having to take a morning off from work. The owner is one of the nicest and most honest people in the state. My mom had used him last summer for a GPS system that was stolen and he also took great care of her in reasonable and timely manner.
