I have been seeing Dr. Travers for over 12 years, she is amazing. Great manner, very knowledgeable and cares so much about my (and everyone's pets!) Every vet I have seen at TLC has been just as courteous and knowledgeable. The staff is professional and friendly. I can't say enough good things about this practice. I drive all the way from Jupiter to see them!

I have ultimate faith in Dr. Travers. She is a great diagnostician, great bedside manner and TLC animal hosp.  is very professional including their techs. Their receptionists are very courteous and the practice is very well run.

Dr. Akbulut printed numerous sheets of instructions from the internet (I could have come home and done this myself) on how to treat dog mites. (www.daily puppy.com/how-to-treat-dog-mites-747.htn
She suggested months of trying different exclusions from Punky's diet and hopefully this would enable us to pinpoint his allergies. When I came home I did some research on dog allergies and discovered that they are difficult to pinpoint. Even after years of trying exclusions you may not find the dogs allergy problems.
The visit was extremely costly and the major problem of dog mites was not addressed properly.
I have since found a vet specialist who correctly treated the dog for mites. Punky does not have allergies.

Been taking our dogs to Dr Dooley for 5 years. Very personable, explains in terms we can understand, never over charges. Usually able to get in quickly, especially if you are willing to see any dr. All staff very friendly.

Very pleased. I am a snowbird and needed a vet for my 2 year old cairn terrier since yearly immunizations were due in the winter months. Found this vet by word of mouth after asking fellow dog walkers. This is my 2nd year in the area and have gone in for shots, upset somach, allergies etc. Always get in promptly upon calling and my dog recovers quickly after visits. Diagnosis seem to be right on. I have seen both Dr. Dooley and Dr. Jon Paul. Both are very professional. Prices seem competitive to what I pay in the midwest. office very clean, staff friendly and most importantly my dog seems to be happy here:)

After the above procedures were done we picked up our pet dog, Bailey, from TLC Animal Hospital. Less than 24 hours of bringing Bailey home she became lethargic and almost comatose. We took Bailey back to TLC Animal Hospital who kept the dog for two days. We were informed by Dr. Dooley that all of Bailey's vital organs were shutting down with no explanation to why this happened. Dr. Dooley gave us two options, put the dog down or try a specialist. We opted for the specialist which Dr. Dooley recommended Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists.
After two days at Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists (PBVS), Dr. Dooley called and claimed he conferred with the specialist at PBVS and it would be best for us to put down Bailey. After conferring direct with the specialist, he felt Baily still had a chance of survival. After over two weeks at PBVS we took Bailey home on 12/24/12. She was still extremely weak. We had give her intravenous feeding the first week, then use syringe feeding the second week and then hand feeding her boiled chichen the third week. It took many more weeks of constant attention but Bailey finally pulled thru and is back to being a healthy dog.
We took a very healthy dog to TLC Animal Hospital/Dr. Dooley for routine procedures and got back a dog on it's death bed. Twice Dr. Dooley recommended our dog be put down. He never accepted any responsibilty for what happened to Bailey while in his care.
I had over $6,500 in veterinary bills to bring Bailey back to good health. I presented these invoices to TLC Animal Hospital/Dr. Dooley, who passed them on to his insurrance company. His insurance company denied the claim, which I expected from an insurance company. I have reached out to Dr. Dooley both by phone and mail with no response. I will now take it thru the legal system.
If Dr. Dooley responds to my review, only remember one thing, I gave that clinic/doctor a very healthy dog and in less that 24 hours I got back a dog on it's death bed, with a recommendation to put the dog down. Is this where you want your pet going ???,

Great. The people at TLC truly love animals and it shows in everything they do. Dr Travers and Dr. Dooley are both down to earth people who talk to you not at you. Their concern for the pets well being is obvious. We had been going to another vet who sold his business and we had to find a new vet. I feel now that for our pets sake this was a fortunate chain of events as TLC provides far better care than we were getting from her previous vet.

New to the area, so I needed to take my kitty to the vet. She's almost 15, has thyroid issues but is otherwise healthy. Dr. Travers was very nice, thorough and helpful. She explained everything she was doing and was very thorough. She did not suggest expensive or unnecessary tests, like many vets I have been to before.

They are excellent. I have used them constantly for my two sick cats.

Overall everything went well.

Dr. John Paul is great and gave great care and attention to me and my cat. The younger staff there does not seem as experienced or professional, in my opinion. The other woman that works there is great, though. I would recommend TLC Hospital.

PLEASE BE AWARE that the vet may be very good, but as of March 17, 2011, they are not accepting any new patients and there is no vet there on Saturdays. We were very happy to see the reviews that the vets were good and caring and close to where we live. We discovered that something was wrong with our dog's leg on Friday night and were delighted to see that they were open on Sat from 9-2. We took him on Saturday, admittedly without an appointment, but were told that they do not accept new patients and that there is no vet there on Saturdays. Angie's List, please update the information so that people know that no new patients are being accepted.

I think they're caring people; they really care about the animals. They are prompt and communicate well with you. They wanted me to use their very expensive pet food but I came home and used my cat food with Benefiber and it worked just as well as their expensive food. I didn't like that they were trying to sell their products.

My only hope is that this group does not get so big that it becomes more of a business and less of a vet. So far, that has not happened. The entire staff are helpful and accommodating regarding any emergency that may come up. Give them a call at TLC...you won't be dissappointed!

I will continue to use them.

I'd been putting off taking her in anywhere because the customer service in the Boca Raton area seems lacking so often, but her rabies vaccine was expiring, so I needed to find a vet asap. I'd asked friends where they take their animals, but noone seemed particularly thrilled with their vet. I checked out a couple of vets that were recommended to me, but saw that they had mixed reviews. TLC had great reviews, so I took a chance. I'm so glad I did! The cost of the exam was very inexpensive! My dog had bloodwork drawn to check for heartworm which fortunately came back negative. They talked to me about putting her on medication to prevent heartworm, which is something we didn't have to deal with living in Oregon. They checked with me twice to make sure I was aware of the cost of the one year supply of the medication, so that I wouldn't have sticker shock when I paid the bill. I appreciated that! Dr. Dooley and the technician was so loving and caring towards my dog who was a bit freaked out. They gave her lots of pets, love, kisses and cookies! I think she'll be happy to go back again in the future! Very thorough exam which checked her bloodwork, teeth, gums, ears, eyes and heart. All the while visiting with me making me feel very comfortable and welcome! I'll sing TLC's praises to anyone looking for a vet! Sooooo glad I found them!!!

They are very thorough, timely and caring with my animal. The vetenarians are knowledgeable and helpful.

The few months that they took care of our dog were amazing. Dr Michele Travers is unbelievable. We have had vets in the past but none as smart as she was. Nobody seemed to really love animals like she did. She and her staff put our dog down and it was so peaceful and unbelievable. It was done with so much love and compassion for both our dog and us. It was just incredible. I wrote them a note as well. Then she went and sent a donation to an animal rescue organization in memory of our dog. She was so sweet.

I have had several negative experiences with vets lately. I also am starting to feel like going to the vet is like taking a used car in for service and you have no idea if what you need is what you really need and you get a huge bill at the end. It is still challening, however, Dr. Dell was very professional and knowledgeable and consulted with others to figure out my dog's "mystery illness" as well as treat her advancing CHF. She was good about presenting testing options and actually what seems like an "outside the box" type treatment plan, which I think is nice. The clinic was a little slow to call me with test results but thorougly explained them when they did. They did not charge for f/u visits for the same problem, which was great. The wait time was normal and prices were about fair and even lower than my former vet on a few things. The office staff is very friendly and organized.

We have 3 standard poodles and they helped our dog litter 9 standard poodle puppies. The doctors and the staff are great. They are excellent and thorough in their job. They took care of the complete process starting from mating till the birth of all 9 puppies. The price is very good and they are very good with animals. They helped us take care of all our 3 poodles and hence, we will not take our dogs anywhere else. We like their services and will continue to use the same in future.
