I called to let Anthony know that we decided to go with his company. (Only because the other two companies were so busy they could not get us into their schedule soon enough, and the third (handy man) person was not licensed/insured. Our house is in Boynton Leisureville so there is HOA approval required and everyone must be licensed and insured.) He said he would have someone over that afternoon to do the pressure cleaning, which at first I thought was great. His guy Christan did a good job and did his best to clean up all the old paint that came off the was that was laying on the ground. They showed up the next day to paint. They did a decent job of that (at least I thought so at first), there were items that we had to have them redo as there were plaster patches showing through. The lawn is taken care of by the HOA and had not been cut in a couple of weeks due to rain. The crew did not cut or remove the long grass away from the house so when they came out to cut the grass the bottom of the house wasn't painted. Some of the items that we requested they touch up were not done when we returned and they were gone. Anthony also gave me a price to pick up our interior doors, take them to his warehouse - sand and paint with the sprayer - and return them. He told me which paint to purchase for the sprayer and said it would match the color of our baseboard and trim since it was all made by the same company and it was the same color. So I went ahead and used that paint to paint the bead board piece myself. IT DOESN'T MATCH! But this wasn't evident until the bead board and trim were in place. And you can't paint latex over oil without a lot of prep and there's no time for that as my cousin was moving in. All the doors were not on site yet. When they were there, I called Anthony (voicemail) and sent emails. He did not responded to either one. It is apparent that he does not want to do this work now, so he is avoiding me. I had to hire someone else to do this work as we were on a schedule and needed it done as soon as possible. Anthony also knew this.

The following Saturday they painted and sprayed the house behind us. All the houses in this development are very close to each other. I was already inside our house doing some work and didn't realize they were there for a few hours. When I went out to my truck to leave, it was covered with a dusting of white paint. I do not have a white truck. When they were getting ready to paint our house, and quot;Iand quot; was the one to go to the neighbors that were down wind and let them know to move their car. They should have paid attention to which way the wind was blowing and notify each house that would be affected of the fact they would be spraying paint.

Since then we have found so many places that the paint is thin and the plaster is showing through, but to make sure the job is done correctly we do it ourselves with roller or brush. They were

We will not refer anyone to him ever. Using ARC Painting has definitely been the most stressful part of this project!

The crew was fine, but make sure you have everything spelled out because when they painted the trim and it was not the color we asked for, we called Anthony and he became very rude and unprofessional. Just like other reviews have stated he tried to say it was our fault that we never told him the proper color. So, he just decided to use what ever color he wanted. Said it was a one day job and we would have to basically live with that. I will not be referring him to anybody else in our neighborhood. I also intend to enter my complaint with the BBB. Again the quality is fine but if there is any problem good luck dealing with Mr Un-Professional. Also he texted us at the end of the day to give the check to his crew mgr. No call to ask if we were happy with the job.

The company appeared quite professional in many aspects, but once the job was in progress, problems arose. At the end of the first day, as I attempted to do some clean up in the kitchen, I noticed a large white scratch on the floor near the kitchen table. When they returned in the morning, I pointed out the scratch to the crew. Anthony, the owner, was not part of the crew on the second day. His brother asked me what I wanted done about it. I suggested that when the work was completed, which should have been that day, I would hold out $100-$200 until the floor refinishers came on Monday. When they told me what it would cost to do the repair, I would take the cost out of the money that I held back, and would return the difference and a receipt to Anthony. He called Anthony and relayed our discussion. Anthony became completely irate and unreasonable. When I tried to talk to him, he told me I was a liar and trying to get the price reduced. Even though he wasn't there, he insisted that it was an existing scratch and his crew couldn't have done it. I think I would have noticed an 18and quot; long scratch in my kitchen had it been there previously. He was extremely rude and left me in tears. He told me that he had instructed his crew to stop work and pack up. He said he would see me in court. I had other workers coming on Monday so it was imperative that I have this job completed. He said that the only way he would let his crew complete the job was if I signed a waiver stating that I would not hold ARC responsible for any damage they did while in my home, and that I had to give him payment in full before they began again. I had serious reservations that he would not honor the contract and return the following day so I was beside myself. I called my daughter and son in law to my home to help me decide what to do. They looked at the contract and agreed that payment in full was due upon completion of the job. My son in law spoke to Anthony and pointed this out. In the end I still had to sign a waiver, but I did not have to release the final payment until they were finished with the job. Of course, this held the process up for hours so the job went into a third day. Finally, Sunday afternoon, the job was complete. The ceiling looked good, but a hole about the size of a quarter appeared on the ceiling in my kitchen. I'll get someone else to repair it. I do not ever want to see ARC again. Clean up for me is still in progress. Even though they put plastic up, popcorn was everywhere. From piles of it behind to refrigerator to in my lights. Remnants of the knockdown were on most of my furniture and walls, as well as my driveway and lawn. Even my front door is splashed in white on the outside, which I'm still trying to figure out how that could have happened. This is a company I would not consider doing business with again.

We chose the paint and they did the work well in one day using 5 to 6 painters and the owner also helped. This speaks volumes.

I recently joined Angie's list in order to find a Painting Contractor to remodel my house. I called several of them and got three quotes. I decided to use ARC Painting.
They were the most reasonably priced and I felt the most comfortable using them. Anthony, the owner of ARC Painting came out to my house to give me an estimate. He assured me that he would be there every day with his men until the job was completed. He showed me his license and, liability and workers compensation insurance. The house I bought was a foreclosure so a lot of work had to be preformed. I will never use another contractor.
Thank you Anthony and your team.

The exterior paint looks good, the pool seal looks good, but he forgot to do the power washing on an aluminum structure that is over my pool. He reassured me he could do it and it's not done. So I called him since I've already paid him. He said he'd come out and take a look at it. The painting deserves an A but pressure washing would be a D.

We received quotes from three contractors to remove popcorn in our 1,800sf house and paint the interior. Arc Painting's proposal was the most competitive and their references checked out so we awarded them the work. Anthony and his crew started when they said they would and worked continuously until the work was complete. I was impressed how they protected all our belongings with plastic sheeting etc. every day and then cleaned up everything every evening before we got home. After removing the popcorn, the ceilings were in rough shape. Although more of a challenge than Arc expected, they worked until the ceilings were a consistent, smooth finish. Although they had to move all of our belongings around to complete the work, they were respectful and nothing got damaged. When the work was completed, there were only a handful of punchlist items. While away at work, I left the final check for Arc to pick up. They could have dipped without doing any of the punchlist work. Not only did they complete the punchlist work, they cleaned the house beyond our expectations; definetely a trustworthy contractor. Arc Painting did a great job and can use my wife and I for a reference anytime.

They did a very good job. They kept with their price even though it was harder than we had thought. We were renting an apartment and that paint was very cheap. It was pouring off the wall when they were trying to paint but they did the necessary preparation and got it done. We would probably use them in the future unless we found someone who gave us a super good deal. We thought that it was a fair deal.
Response from Ticon Painting
"It was a pleasure working with this christian family. The walls were in very bad condition to begin with. However i gave him a quote over the phone without looking at the job first and i stuck to the price even though it was a little more time consuming. I am a man of my word. Oh and Thank you for the tip.. Much appreciated"
