It went very smooth. They said it would be done in about 4 hours and they were done in 3.5 hours. Garage door looks great!

TERRIBLE, BAD. The springs and cables are new but when I open my garage door I get a loud bang when the door starts to move. The company owner claims it's because my house was painted FOUR years ago and the paint is sticking to the door. REALLY? I never got this loud bang before the springs and cables were installed. The owner refuses to fix the problem. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. UNRELIABLE. They do not stand behind their work.

"12/20/16 - repaired broken spring and replaced drive cables. Door balanced perfectly and running smooth. 12/30/16 - [Member Name Removed] called and informed us that there was a noise only when he opens the door for the first time in the morning and does not hear it for the rest of the day. [Member Name Removed] also informed me that this noise started about 6 months ago in June. I made a written note of this conversation in our computer records kept for each customer. I do this for warranty purposes. At this time I advised [Member Name Removed] that this problem only happens when a painted door sticks overnight to the painted vinyl garage door trim that touches the door. Heat and humidity degrades the paint overtime and becomes sticky and after sitting overnight will bind the door to the trim. Sounds strange but it does happen here in Florida with some paints. 1/16/17 - We went to [Member Name Removed]'s home to ensure there were no issues with the door that could be repaired to stop the banging. I did this to make sure I had not missed something that could make the door dangerous and did not charge [Member Name Removed] for this call. At this visit I pointed out to [Member Name Removed] that the trim for the garage door was indeed sticky as I had told him it would be on the phone. The trim needs to be cleaned of paint or removed and replaced. 2/1/17 - [Member Name Removed] called us back and complained again about the noise only during the first open in the morning. I advised him again that the issue was sticky paint that I put his fingers on during our 1/16/17 service call. I also reminded him that he indicated to us that this problem started 6 months ago prior to our spring replacement. At this time I told [Member Name Removed] that there was nothing I could do regarding the banging only during the initial opening in the morning and that he needs to address the sticky paint. Needless to say [Member Name Removed] is not happy with the facts but I cannot change them."

This company was one of 4 in Palm Beach County recommended by Chamberlain technical support HQ. Doorman answered the phone when we called, and made an appointment for the next day, which he kept. He fixed the problem. He recommended that we get a new battery, which will be installed next week. The new battery will be a separate charge.

Tech arrived on time and completed the task in 20 minutes. Seemed to know what he was doing and very professional and did (not) try to (up-sell) new rollers, brackets, cables etc. Will use them again for future Garage Door needs.

Great service and very professional with great pricing. Just bought the house and the garage doors were noisy and rattled very loudly when they opened. The openers were new from the previous owner so the doors needed some TLC. The tech, did the basic service, and they sounded like brand new doors when they were done. Also did the balancing, and what a difference that made as well. Well worth the additional money to get that done. Didn't try to sell us parts we didn't need. Could use some new rollers, but he suggested just waiting until one goes and then purchase all new ones instead of selling me $200 worth of rollers. Would highly recommend giving them a call to have the doors checked. Well worth it. Very fast in returning calls and on time to perform the work.

I called on a Friday and they were able to get someone out by Sat morning. Keith came out and he was friendly and knowledgable and solved the issue I was having by making an immediate repair of a broken part.

Julio came out on day and at time I was expecting him and was he great, courteous, very efficient, did the job well and cleaned up before he left. Price was very competitive. Door works smoothly and quietly. I would call The Doorman again for garage door issues and refer them to friends, family and clients.

The Doorman is always good. I had used them to replace my front doors in 2009 and was very happy. When my garage spring broke the other day, I said I should call the Doorman. They showed up when they said and had a great price and were also able to replace my aging cables and destroyed weather stripping in the same visit.

Bought this door from Lowes and the Doorman installed it in 2009. Their original installation was spot on and we had no more service calls until 8-13 for the repair.
They were punctual, professional ( and funny) and did what they had to do with no fuss or muss. They were great.

We had the greatest experience with these guys from start to finish. Their knowledge and professionalism were about the best I've ever worked with. They went above and beyond to make sure we received the best product for the best price. And their installers are just as wonderful and ndash; punctual, hard working and know what they're doing. When we initially set out to replace our doors we were going to use Home Depot. I am so glad we didn't. These are the guys you want.

Garage door suddenly stopped working. My husband called The Doorman and Keith Falzone came within 1 hour of the initial phone call. Keith fixed the garage door within 30 minutes. Keith was extremely professional. Very good etiquette shown to both me and my husband and Ketih explained everything he was doing the entire time and what we need to do to keep it maintained in the future. He fixed the garage door so that it works beter than it has since we moved in 7 years ago. We feel that Keith was extremely professional and an honest serviceman.

I needed a cable on our garage door replaced and the springs needed to be re-tightened.When I called them they seemed very professional and knowledgeable. I have a pretty solid knowledge of garage doors so I described the situation to them and asked for a specific quote.Based on possible needs they gave me a quote of replacing cables if needed and adjusting both springs if needed.They arrived ontime and because we live out of town our tenants met them.
When they got there they completely raised their price. I would have told them to leave but my tenant was desperate to get the door fixed. I felt tricked and I told them but I think they sensed that I was desperate to have it fixed right away.I told them I would never use them again unless they gave me the prices they quoted on the phone to me but the service man told me that was up to me but the price would be the same. After some stressful negotiations he finally knocked of $25 bucks but his price was still much more expensive that his original quote.I had them do the work but I would never recommend them to anyone.
