Synergy Technical Solutions & HDRepair

Vizio sent me a service number that HD Repair is supposed to respond to within 3 business days. They never did so after 9 business days, I called the company. The girl had all of my information in their system, so I could tell that Vizio had done their due diligence. She told me that they would call me within an hour to set up an appointment, but they never did.

Called Visio initially for a problem that seemed familiar on the internet.  Was referred to HD REPAIR by Visio.  Carged a $338 flat charge for parts and service.  HD REPAIR got my name wrong, my phone number wrong, the appointment (a 3 hour window) wrong because they shipped the parts to the wrong address & the technician had to retrieve them.  Of the 3 parts, only one was used.  The technician was instructed to take those unused parts with them in addition, the board that broke.  If I wanted to keep the broken board, I would need to pay an additional $40.  When HD REPAIR was contacted about reimbursing the unused parts I was told that was not going to happen.  When I began to express my dissatisfaction the customer service representative hung up.

Too late for me, but following the recommendations of Visio was overkill.  Apparently these things break down often enough local repair is completely sufficient.
