Scott Fleisher

Having no hardware expertise, I needed an expert to help. I found Scott on Angie's List, selected him first for his A rating and second for being geographically close to me in West Boca Raton. He was able to come later on the day I called, and within a few minutes had figured out and fixed what was wrong (an out-of-position video card), showed me what to do if it happens again (I would now not be scared of opening up my desktop to do this), and even vacuumed out the inside of the desktop, which it really needed since it hadn't been opened for several years. A perfect experience for me and my computer, and he is absolutely the first person I would call in the future for other hardware assistance.

Toshiba laptops tend to overheat and shutdown after they are a few years old, because their CPU fan and filter get very dirty.  That is what happened to mine.  Scott told me that he would clean it for $75.  I was concerned about leaving my laptop with all my financial records on it.  So, Scott quickly agreed  to remove the hard drive and let me take it with me while he worked on it.  After a few hours, I picked it up, and it no longer overheated.  Scott was very competent and helpful.  I would definitely do business with him again.

My laptop computer was unable to access the internet.  I took it first to the Geek Squad at Best Buy, who wanted $200 just to diagnose the problem. I decided that was too expensive.
Scott dropped off a business card at my office, after having done some work for others in the office park.  I called him to get a quote on repair.  He called back within twenty minutes, then  came later that day to my office and picked up the laptop.
He called by noon the next day to say the repairs were done.  Scott actually had to back up everything, install a new hard drive and re-install all the drivers.  
He brought the laptop back to my office, with a flash drive where he'd backed up everything for me.
The process was quick, efficient and reasonably priced.  Scott was very pleasant and fixed my laptop to perfection.
I highly recommend his services.

On Angie's List, Scott gives his opening hour as 7:00 a.m. I called him at 7:10 a.m on Friday morning.; his answering machine was on, and I thought he might not return the call for many hours, but within 10 minutes he returned my call! We talked briefly about my laptop's problem, and he told me that he could repair it if he could get the proper screen, but wouldn't know for sure whether he could get the right replacement screen until he took the machine apart to get the screen's model number, and that until then he couldn't give a very exact price, but that the total cost would probably be about $150. That all seemed reasonable to me. He offered to pick up the laptop from my house (about 10 or 12 miles from his) that very day. He came when he said he would, and picked up the machine, saying he'd call me as soon as he knew whether he could get a replacement screen. The following morning, he called, saying, and quot;Good news!and quot; and told me it would take about three business days to be shipped to him and that then he would fix it immediately. The following Thursday I called him just to check on the status. He said that his order for the screen already showed as having been shipped, but that delivery was estimated to be Thursday or Friday. Late Thursday morning, he called me with the news that the screen had just been delivered and said he would install it on my laptop right away. A little later, he called me again to say iit was done, and that he could deliver the machine to me anytime I liked, and asked when would be convenient. I told him, and quot;The sooner the better.and quot; He came right away and showed me the machine, which worked and looked like new. His price was exactly what he had quoted me, which surprised me a little.
He's responsive, businesslike, personable, an excellent communicator -- not so common an attribute among computer types -- and seems to know his business very well. I haven't used him for a software or network problem, so I can't vouch for that aspect of his work, but I can say that everything about his interactions with me was TIP TOP.

Scott was right on the ball. Knew the problems and fixed them right away. Very congenial and knowledgeable young man. Call him - you'll never need anyone else to fix your computer.

I just called Scott his morning after finding him on Angie's list. I was lucky because he had a cancellation and lives very close to my house where I have my home office. He came over within an hour or so, and worked incredibly quickly. He fixed everything that I asked him to, and things seem to now be running very well, and I notice a great increase in my computer speed. He was professional and very nice, and I will certainly call him for any future issues and highly recommend him. I think his fee was very reasonable for a home visit.

Scott is extremely knowledgeable about computers. His rates are very reasonable.

While and quot;cleaning upand quot; my laptop, however, Scott removed some files that were necessary for executing certain programs, plus part of my Norton Security system. I contacted him about the Security program, and his response was, and quot;well, you know what to do.and quot;

I spent 2 hours figuring out which programs had been compromised, reloading or downloading them, and ensuring everything worked (which it does today). I also fixed my error message problem which was the original reason that I had contacted him.
