This is my final review. Derick does good work but be reliable and call people back and show up when you say you will. Horrible. Took the money and ran. He hung me up on a kitchen remodeling over and over day after day. It was supposed to be done in a couple of weeks it couple of months. If you want stress, anger and anguish in your life hire them. The pity is Dericks work was great but not worth what they put me through. They did leave the kick plates loose without most of the nails and put back dishwasher off level with straps off pulleys so door just drops all the way down and comes up crooked. Now I have to pay to get this repaired. Good luck.

Derick & his father Rick did a beautiful job in the kitchen. The cabinets are beautiful as well as the granite counter & back splash. Their workmanship is quality. Derick does great work. He is a jack of all trades. He basically can do anything related to construction including plumbing & electrical work. He is also an excellent spackler & caulker. They clean up when done each day. On top of that he & his father are a pleasure to work with. I must say Jairo the granite fabricator they use is also a very talented guy & pleasure to work with. He is with Brazil Stone. In addition to the kitchen work they installed 4 high hats in the kitchen & installed an extended electrical line in my main bath along with boxes so that I could have 2 light fixtures. He also installed a box & light fixture in my 2nd bath. I would highly recommend Derick & Rick to do any necessary work. I attached some before & after photos. The kitchen is 90% complete as I write. Plumbing needs to be hooked up & wall opening that was made larger has to be finished off. I will upload more pix when 100% complete.

It went great.

The project was completed 2 weeks after the original agreed to date. When I originally met with Derick he promised to begin prepping the project on Friday, April 21st and have completed by the following Wednesday- April 26th. I completely understand that delays occur, but no communication was received from Santos and Sons until I was in route to the property that following Friday to clean it, meet with Stanley Steamer and take pictures. At that point I realized they had barely begun work! The following week I drove from Tequesta to Boca to find the project only 50% complete when it was AGAIN promised to be completed by the following Wednesday. That Saturday I again drove to Boca to check on progress and make final payment and was told they would be done in 10 minutes, but several of the items in our original contract had not even been started (replacing garbage disposal, cleaning windows, cleaning and resealing showers and pressure washing patio pavers). I was heading out of town that same day and was promised pictures of completed project so that I could officially list the property and pay the final contracted amount...I didn't receive those pictures until over a week and half after they were promised on May 19th. The project was originally promised April 26th and as of May 19th it was not completed, but Derrick wanted payment none the less. In addition, I received an invoice for an additional $463 above what was originally agreed to, and at no point were the cost of the additional items communicated....literally until the final bill came a week and a half after it was promised. Overall the quality of the work product that was performed was good, but several items on the list were never completed (cleaning showers and resealing and polishing bathroom marble counter top). Derrick was rude and condescending, trying to indicate that I was not able to pay, rather than taking responsibility for lack of completion, delays and poor communication. Once he realized I had sent final payment in full he back peddled and attempted to come back to finish his uncompleted work. At that point the property had already passed inspection and I did not feel comfortable allowing him into the property after how erratically he acted when I called him out for not completing the work that was requested. Obviously there are 2 sides to every story, but I would not recommend.

Derek was completely awesome, he came to our home and quickly installed all the shutters in a timely manner. He communicated often and took pictures of the house and text to us. His ability to get this done in a very trusting manner made my wife feel at ease as we were not in Delray and needed protect our home. I would recommend Derek to anyone looking for a trusted contractor.

Derick was very professional. His work quality was excellent and his price was reasonable. Would hire again.

Went very well. Derrick was professional, honest, completed job on time (that was the best part). Done a complete freshen up of apt unit, ready for next tenant move in. I'm very pleased. Will use him again and recommend him.

Derick and Rick showed up on time. They covered the floor in the work area with paper and taped down. Then they covered everything with plastic, moved my furniture and sealed the room with plastic. Work was performed in a timely and professional manner. They constantly kept cleaning up after themselves. They even ran the vacuum as they were sanding to minimize dust. Put everything back and wouldn't leave until everything was perfect. Highly recommend and will use them again in the future.

Great job! Very professional and came to do the job within a few days of contact. Did some handyman work around my house. Very nice people. Would definitely refer and hire again!! Thanks Derick!

Derick and his father came on very short notice and completed our job within a few hours. They were very careful about the removal with the result that all of the items on our list will be able to be used again in others' homes. They worked steadily until the job was done. They are very personable and we will definitely be using them again. I would recommend them highly.

It went great! It was a long project, 2+ months, but every single room in our house now looks outstanding. They have a great eye for detail, and are very meticulous in their work. They also have a great network of contacts in the industry, so if you need a good price on cabinets, granite, windows, etc. they can put you in touch!

Derrick & his father were kind, friendly, and straight forward. They did a great job and cleaned up any messes made, they even went above & beyond in helping me remove boxes and returning a heavy item to Home Depot for me. Thanks for your hard work, guys!

Very happy with the results. It took a bit longer than anticipated, but we kept changing things. they took great care in picking up and cleaning as much as possible when leaving everyday since I lived in the unit while work was done. My only recommendation is to agree ahead of time on what you want done. There are many decisions, like lights and type, crown molding, height of cabinets, placement of trash can, hardware, counter top, etc. It is a lot to research.

I called Santos and Sons around 5:00 pm-I needed some work done the next day. Derick answered the phone right away and I explained the job I needed done. He was very polite and understood exactly what I needed. We agreed he would come to my house at 9:00 Am the next day. Derick and his father Rick showed up at exactly 9:00. They both shook my hand and asked if they could come in. They removed their shoes even though I told them it wasn't necessary. I showed them the things that we discussed and they went right to work. After a while they left for lunch and since I had to leave they even called me when they came back. By the end of the day my drywall work was complete and it looked perfect. Derick and Rick were very neat and kept cleaning up after themselves. While the work was going on Derick would ask me how I would like certain things and make suggestions. The next day they came back to do my baseboards. Again they made great suggestion. They were able to match my existing baseboards in the rest of the house. Everything was fitted to perfection, caulked and level. I can't say enough about these two men. They truly took pride in their work and it showed. I would use them again in a heartbeat and I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs carpentry work!
