"HI After checking our records we did the work on March 23rd, on May 3rd request to move the downspout was received, we made email attempts 5/5 , 5/8, 5/10 to come out and correct the downspout placement. All of this is documented in emails. The reason the owner sent a letter was our terms for payment due upon receipt with at 10 day grace period, the payment was not paid and went past due 45+ days. The total for the job was $1195.00 not $2000 as stated above. As for the office manager she handled this situation in a very professional manner . We take pride in our work and being in business 40+ years, Sorry you were not satisfied with the service your received."

The job listed was performed fine, the problem was with the person that came out to give me an estimate, during that time we discussed the cost of an additional downspout if need at a later date in the event the existing would not handle the waterflow and I was quoted an amount to which I decided would be reasonable if needed. At a later date I decided to move the downspout , not install a new one (meaning no material cost, just labor) and was quoted three times the amount. Was told they have to many big house jobs and can't send someone out for what they quoted me initially. I asked that they come out anyway and look at some additional work to add to that and was told they would but ten days later still no sign of the sales rep, no response.
Moral of the story, if you plan on getting something done at a later date, have them put the quote in writing. I was willing to pay what they wanted, just asked for what they offered me initially, more so an explanation as to why i was not told of the and quot;service feeand quot; and also wanted to add additional gutter work to the job but apparently when it rains it pours and they have to many and quot;BIG HOUSES, BIG JOBSand quot; to take care of instead of an existing client.
