Initially Sam was very helpful in selecting the carpet, coming out to measure, and ordering promptly.  The day the carpet was installed the installer was over 2 ½ hours late without a phone call.  In addition, there was only one installer the other person could not come that day.  I had already taken time off work and prepared the room for installation (not removing furniture, but clothes, things on dresser, etc).  The one installer had a very difficult time moving my heavy bedroom furniture and I had to assist him
(thank goodness I am young and in shape).   He scratched my bathroom floor in moving the furniture.  Installation took an additional four hours and he was at my house until 8:30 since he arrived late and there was only one person.  When I called Sam upset and frustrated he was not responsive, and simply said there was nothing he could do.  He apologized,
but did not take ownership for the situation.  He blamed everyone but himself.  He does not understand when you own a company that company?s products and service is a reflection of you.  I have done both very high end and economical renovations, Sam said that he would provide a high level of service, however I wish I had gone with Home Depot in this situation.  I will never use Rabbit Carpet again.

The owner Sam, personally came out to measure. Was a half hour late, no phone call. There was a delay in the shipping of the ordered wood flooring. Again we would not have known unless we called. The team that Sam sent under Miguel Arbulu however did the most awesome job. Miguel is a master of his craft, diligent, punctual very precise and meticulous. in fact the owner Sam, could take some lessons from Miguel in customer service and satisfaction. We have no hesitation in recommending Miguel for any hardwood floor job, regardless of size. Contact him at 561-445-3192

I think the work was average. I think the carpeting was put down in an average way. Seams were imperfect. With the wooden floor, we had a lot of issues with glue that was on the wood. When they walked around they were difficult to get back. I wouldn't recommend them.

Sam is the best--I would never go anywhere else.  In fact, I am going to use Sam again to redo wood floors I had installed in the living room, office, and family room just a few years ago and already have problems.  Sam and his wife are patient, extremely knowledgable, honest and professional--what more could you want.  Picking a floor was the hardest part because it needed to go well with different wood furniture in different rooms.  Sam was here when he said he would be and the installer he sent was neat, efficient, professional and fast.  I really can't say enough about the whole experience.  I can't wait to do the rest of the house!

I was very satisfied with th work and the floors looked beautiful when completed. Any follow up work was done promptly. I would highly recommend Sam and his staff. His showroom has a large selection of both engineered wood and solid wood floors . He is quite knowledgable about all facets of the business.

+"D" is for dusaster. Impossible to believe anyone does business with this Co. twice. At the last minute the price was jacked up 30% when it was decided that the floor needed to be laid on plywood--even though the bid was two months old, therefore too late to get other bids.
The lead installer Miguel is a lazy, prima donna who doesn"t clean up after himself, worked poorly with other tradesmen and allowed his helpers to lay flooring unsupervised. His work was sloppy leaving me with thresholds too high to close my bathroom doors.  I had to find someone to fix the problem on my own and pay them extra..Sam the owner refused to fix the problem claiming he doesn't cut doors. (everyone else does). Migul's helpers were caught stealing from other workers Sam, the owner, never visited the job site or called to inquire how things were going.
Use this Co. and you will get what you deserve..

The reason I chose them ultimately was because the estimate was almost identical as far as price but Rabbit has been in town significantly longer. Sam, the owner, is a general contractor and I felt if I ran into any problems, he might could help me which he did.

Sam the owner of Rabbit is extremely knowledgable about all aspects of construction and flooring.  He came out and measured and gave me honest estimates of cost, time and delivery.  His workers have been with him for many years and are top notch.  I highly recommend Sam as a GC and a flooring supplier/ installer.

I did my initial research online about our flooring project. I had a pretty good idea about what type of floor I wanted to get. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to hire an installer who would be able to install the full stair tread for each step ( as opposed to installing the same floor with just the stair nosing) When my wife and I went to different flooring installers, we were not satisfied with the answers we were getting to our questions. We wanted to know the pros and cons of bamboo vs engineered hardwood floors vs solid hardwood floors. We also wanted to know what type of installation they would recommend, floating vs glue down vs nail down. When we met Sam from Rabbit Floors that all changed. He was by far the most knowledgeable hardwood floor installer we had met. It was clear to me that he has great a deal of experience in installing floors. He took a great deal of time in explaining the pros and cons of installing different floor types. He also wanted to make sure that we selected the right floor for us. He told me that, since I have small children, he would recommend a floor that would be able to sustain a great deal of wear and tear. We ultimately decided installing a hand scraped engineered hardwood floor. Sam also mentioned that installing the full stair tread with the matching wood stain would not be a problem at all (other installers declined to install full stair treads). Once we selected the floors, Sam took the measurements on the house. We then paid a 50% deposit and scheduled a start date. As previously mentioned, they started on time and finished ahead of schedule. Our overall experience exceeded our expectations.

As soon as you walk into the showroom in Boca and speak with Sam the owner, you know he knows what he's doing. He didn't sugar coat the amount of time or money it would take to complete the job.  It was not inexpensive but you get what you pay for.  Sam came and measured, took into account doorways and possible obstacles and gave me an estimate.  He called twice to confirm that his workers would be there on Monday to start the first phase of  my job.   His man Jose was quiet, polite, hardworking and meticulous.  They were careful not to make too much of a mess (good luck).  Next came the concrete poured onto my balcony.  Sam knew I was nervous about this and came and made sure everything was ok.  Lastly came the flooring.  Miguel, who has worked for Sam for 20 years, came with an assistant and removed all my carpeting.  They had to work around furniture which was not easy.  They worked diligently and neatly and finished the job in about 7 days.  One of the best things about dealing with Sam is that he is a general contractor so any wall moving or construction issues you have he can deal with.  I highly recommend Rabbit Floors.
