Pegasus Floor & Tile

Manny was unavailable during my requested dates, but promptly referred me to his colleague Freddy. Freddy was cordial, showed up as promised and did an excellent job with the work. He takes obvious pride in the quality of his craft and the result testifies to the care that he took. Everything was cleaned up at the end of the job. Would highly recommend.

This is the second time we've used Pegasus and my wife and I couldn't be happier! Manny is not only a master tile man, he's the owner, something my wife and I enjoy--working with a company that has a bit more of a personal touch especially when it comes to the owner being the craftsman. We decided to remove our entire master bathroom in our historic home and start anew. As with any total rehab you come across a fair share of previous misdeeds and poor workmanship from prior owners. Manny was not daunted or deterred, he compensated for every twist and turn, and created a gem of a bathroom with our small marble wall tiles and 8"x8" floor tiles, despite the extra cuts involved in smaller tiles. Probably the best thing about Manny's company is the fact that he's knowledgeable and capable enough to handle large jobs, but also attentive and professional enough to offer custom and professional service to the smaller jobs as well. Manny made our bathroom come to life and we wholeheartedly recommend his capable skills. His pricing was fair, his work exceptional. Problem is, he's been a bit of a secret for people in the know, now I might find it harder to get him back for my hall bathroom. Despite this, Angie's list works best when the contractor who are the best are shared. When it comes to tile, Manny is the man.

Having an older house in a historic district can become a bit of a curse. Years of improper installations, and DIY jobs seem to add to problems and frustrations. I have a front entrance with a 6x6 tiled patio. It was never pitched correctly and as a result gave us nothing trouble when it rained, leaving a mini pond in front of our entrance door. This all ceased once I contacted Pegasos. I realized quickly why, the owner, Manny Kukunis is the sole employee---so you're not dealing with an employee or a sub contractor, you're dealing with the boss. Manny completely removed the flawed and improperly installed tiled and began to set the thin-set in a properly sloped manner. The work was meticulous and noticeably professional. Manny works on your house like it was his. I like that it was only him I was dealing with. Admittedly by his standards this was a "small job", but an obvious big deal to my wife and I. Manny got that, and he set about making it right. He was so good, we decided to continue into the house on the other side of the door thresh hold so that there would be continuity. The end result? Perfection at a fair price and with a real professional. We're planning a much larger job this year with the entire rehab of master bathroom which will include removing the tile and then the installation of all new tile. We'll be calling Manny for sure. We like that he's a one man show and that because of this there is no "passing the buck", it all stops with him. Great guy, great work.
