I've had a lot of workers in my home throughout the years, and I can honestly say that Josh Miller and his team (Brent, Eddie, and Pete) are the best of the best. We had a really tough situation. My house was recently renovated and the floors we had bought were defective. They were installed by another contractor. I was devastated at the thought of ripping up my brand new floors, but Josh came out and was so kind and calming that the stress just melted away. He brought out his team and then ripped up my floors and installed the new ones in ONE WEEK. And they did it in a way so that we didn't have to move out. They were meticulous. There wasn't even a scratch on the walls. And the floors are now perfect. The lines are seamless. I am beyond happy. Most importantly, Josh and his team were so kind and easy-going. They were actually a pleasure to have around, and they just made what could have been a very stressful experience lots of fun. I'd recommend Josh to absolutely anyone for anything. He's kind, honest, fair...and his work his perfect. I can't thank him enough!

OK - until we asked Josh Miller to come back to address 2 items: 1. The steps down into the living room have cracked and are broken because of improper design and/or installation (not sure which one, or may be a combination of both) of the "floating" vinyl wood flooring at the edge of each step was not done correctly. The part that hangs over the next step down is broken and is a safety hazard. 2. Due to construction in other parts of the family room/kitchen, a portion of the floor installation had to be delayed until the kitchen/family room was completed. When we called Josh to return to finish the job, and to address to safety issue at the steps, his response was this: I am not going to return because my subcontractor, William, who performed the installation, felt the interior designer did not stick up for William when I, the homeowner and payer of over $25,000 for a new floor, requested that certain aspects of the job that were unsatisfactory be repaired or addressed. So now, in the middle of the job, which remains unfinished, and after spending over $25,000, Josh will not complete the work for which he was contracted and I will need to locate another installer. Please - if you value the time, effort and investment you must make in a new floor for your home, consider this review before you proceed.

Peace of Wood installed engineered hardwood throughout our addition and existing home. I would highly recommend Peace of Wood for any wood installation project. Josh and his crew were punctual and did an excellent job. The variations in wood tones were evenly spread out throughout the house and/or hidden in places that won't be seen. The seams are lined up perfectly. The quality of service was top notch. Our contractor uses Peace of Wood exclusively.

Started the job within a few days of the quote. They were not able to finish the first week because we did not have the baseboards but they returned the following week to finish the job, One of four quotes received and pricing was good while some quotes were double what they charged. We provided the flooring and they did the labor. They were always on time and professional.

Replacing sections of hardwood is probably more difficult than laying the floor originally. It took all day and they stayed, did a great job and cleaned up nicely. The company is easy to deal with and is accommodating to your needs. The only caveat I have is that they get very busy so scheduling can be challenging at times. Given that, they are excellent to deal with.

Excellent! Josh and his crew did a great job installing the new hard wood flooring in my new house. They were able to get it done quickly and did a quality job. He even came back in a timely fashion to fix a piece near my laundry room and was always available by phone. I would highly recommend his company to anyone looking to do this kind of work, top-notch job!

Josh and his crew did a great job. I am very particular and spent a lot of time researching people. He came highly recommended by a friend of a friend. He completed 4 bedrooms and a hallway and a staircase. Everyday the crew came on time (8 am) and left about 5 pm. Josh was very accurate about the time the job would take. It took 6 days and that's about what he said it would take. It is very difficult to find good honest help especially in Florida and I am so happy I found him and I have beautiful floors now.

Josh and his crew did a great job! I would certainly hire them again but won't have to as we now have expertly installed flooring in our whole home including the garage. They installed 2 floors of new hardwood flooring including a staircase. For the stairs the wood had to be custom-cut. They removed and painted our baseboards, placed subfloors, and installed the wood flooring. It was a lot of work. Our gym floor was a rubber tile-type floor that gets put together with dowels. Again Josh and his crew did a great job- I cannot see any notable seams. Our garage floor is coin-flex tile. We had an intricate pattern we wanted to create with the tiles and Josh was able to lay the tiles just so. When the factory-made edging pieces were not working well, Josh sent one of his guys back and fabricated a new edge piece for the garage floor that works much better. Josh and the whole crew at Peace of Wood were professional and courteous. They worked hard and were responsive when we we needed them to come back to do touch-ups. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing installation of flooring in the area.
