STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Unit installed a little over a year ago. Stopped cooling. Called for service. Tech arrives, says he doesn't have a Leak Detection tool, adds Freon and leaves. Damages my Dryer Vent hose and leaves. No quote no invoice. Less than a week later, its not cooling. 2nd tech arrives, doesn't have working batteries for his Leak Detection tool, end up having to give him batteries. Says there is a leak. Resolders and adds Freon. Unit not cooling before he leaves, he says it takes 24 hours to cool. Present a bill for over $1k for 1 hour of Labor without ever giving a quote. Who charges $1k per hour?? Call office to complain and they remove the bill. 24 hours later, not cooling. Send another tech. Literally states he is only going to add Freon and not fix it since the last bill wasn't paid. But there is no outstanding invoice. Made several calls to management.. always "busy" and will call back but never do. STAY AWAY. I have never encountered such ridiculous service.

We had a air conditioning unit installed at our business in January 2017 and recently had a cooling problem. When we called the company to come out, they told us that the condenser coil had failed and would need to be replaced. We were surprised that a main component like that would fail after that short of time. The unit is only 20 months old and doesn't even get used as much as our home does as we turn it back quite a bit after hours and on the weekends. We were given a proposal to repair the coil for around $1125.00 plus the refrigerant. It took a week to get the part - why that long I don't know. The company did give us a room ac to help out because the part was going to take so long, but it only barely cooled the main part of our office, which is under 400 sf. My staff ended up working out of their houses because it was around 85 in the office. They kept saying that it was a residential cool unit instead of a commercial unit, so the warranty was not in effect. Again, I don't know why that makes a difference. They installed it and they knew that it was a commercial property. Why are we penalized because of their error. I explained to them that this unit actually gets used a lot less then our unit at home because I turn this one down after hours and on the weekends. It gets a lot less wear and tear then our unit at home. We have been in this location for over 25 years. This is our 3rd air conditioning unit. we have never had a major part fail in such a short time. With regular maintenance, that part should have lasted at least 10 years. They told us that they would cover the part, but we would need to pay for labor. They told us the labor would be $1,125.00 plus the refrigerant that would be $63.00 a pound. Our bad - we forgot to ask how much the refrigerant they thought they would need to use. The refrigerant ended up being another $882.00, so our bill almost doubled. Our landlord called the company after receiving the final bill because the cost went up so much. They were originally going to give her a 15% credit until they saw that the proposal was signed. Then they wouldn't give her any discount at all. Needless to say - they lost 3 customers that day. Our personal and our landlords personal services and our office and the other rentals that she and her partner own.

Our air conditioning stopped working during the night and a neighbor uses Palm Air, so I called them in the morning. A repairman, Jeremiah was out by 3. We have not been a previous customer, so it was great they could get someone that day. He diagnosed the problem and they had to send another truck to get the part. Jeremiah was awesome, we also have cracks in the ceiling near all our vents and he looked into that and told us what was going on. Our a/c unit is in the garage and because it kept shutting down, another a/c company put a pump on it. Every month we were told to pour boiling hot water and bleach down the hose, which we did, because if we didn't- it would shut down.
We finally were fed up with this and called Palm Air to get another opinion. Jeremiah was great, he diagnosed the problem. And they had to get 2 more guys to get the part and at they arrived around 5 pm. They finally got my a/c working at 7pm after running into numerous issues. Ryan and Jeff were incredibly professional and courteous. We never should have been pouring bleach down the pipes like the previous company told us to do. There are other options to this pump situation, that we will be doing. They never tried to up-sell me on anything. I was the one to bring up a maintenance program. Jeremiah, Jeff, Ryan were all great.
We signed a maintenance contract with Palm Air and feel we are with a reliable and knowledgable company.

The company was knowledgeable but failed to inform me that the coil needed to be acid cleaned and continued with a pathetic chemical cleaning that was sub-par for the job. It was not mentioned to me that basically that service was useless but rather another company the next day looked at it and almost laughed.

We got very high end air conditioners with all kinds of extra stuff. His price was fair. I like his expertise and follow up and he did some adjustments with the duct work. Everything was done very well, very professional, the guys were very neat and clean, they put little covers on their shoes, they made sure that they covered all the carpeting with plastic, and they did a good job. I priced 3 companies and he seems to be fair for what he is giving us. He wasn't cheap but we got a lot of extra stuff. Everything's good.

Excellent! Punctual, professional and clean. The crew was at my house in Weston all day, and they never stopped for breaks or lunch. The owners - Everett and David - are hands-on, professional and concerned about the customer being satisfied. "Customer service" is not only in their vocabulary...it's clearly important to these guys. Everett was my main contact person at the company, and was great. Everett always took my calls (or called me right back) and was responsive to my requests/concerns. The latter was true both before and after I selected Palm Air to do the project. Palm Air was recommended to me by one of my neighbors. I would use them again.

In response to an ad in our local community bulletin, we called Palm Air for an annual check up of our air conditioning unit. Although the technician was almost two hours late, they did call to let us know that he was running behind schedule. The technician was very courteous and professional although he did try to sell us additional products (which did not surprise me). The services were performed as per expectations and we would call them in the future.

Palm Air was prompt in providing us an estimate for a new AC unit after evaluating our old one. They are knowledgable, straightforward and responsive. Once we gave them the go ahead, they met every obligation. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. They even contacted us to remind us that our permit would expire soon so that we could get our final inspection before it did so. I would use them again.

Three weeks ago, I had flooding from the air conditioner which ruined 25 feet of three-month old baseboards. Now they are warped and moldy. I called Palm Air and they sent a technician out. He found that, when they had installed the pump, the safety valve was not connected. The valve is supposed to prevent flooding, but since it was not connected, the air conditioner flooded. They charged me $148 for connecting the valve. I think they should refund me the $148 for the repair that should have been done in the first place, and I want them to pay to replace the damaged baseboards.
