Marlucy's Cleaning Corp

The experience was awful. She just used a wand on the bed and the lamps. She didn't do anything in the kitchen. She didn't mop the floors, and didn't touch the bathrooms. I had to show her how to use the washer and the dryer, and I had to change them from one to the other by myself.

The first visit we assumed was an issue getting to know our house and such.  She didn't bring her own vacuum, but then blamed the poor vacuum job on our machine.  When my wife asked if she would be bringing her own next time, she was surprised she wouldn't be allowed to use ours.  Not sure what she expected if our vacuum was the reason the floor was vacuumed poorly. 

The second visit was today and just completely unhappy.  My wife had to go after her and wipe down the outside of the refrigerator that was full of dust.  Kitchen counters were not cleaned well.  Forget about top of any object being dusted.  The floor was vacuumed around movable objects.  In other words, our vacuum was left in a bedroom and she vacuumed around it instead of moving it.  Several items were done the same way.  A couple of window blinds were left disheveled and out master bathroom sinks were not left in order.  We have a 4000 sq ft home in which she was here 5 hrs.  Apparently she would prefer to make a great hourly rate than to maintain our home and retain a customer.   

Went very well. We will be using marlucy every month from now. Very good price as well.

A friend indicated me to her and I then called and set up an appointment for her to see the house. Once there she gave me a price, which was reasonable, and then we set up a date for her to come. She told me she could bring her own cleaning products or use mine if I preferred. She left no corner untouched and cleaned everything to my satisfaction. She seemed very honest and let me know she was very flexible with time/dates; she was punctual and it seemed like she was never there.
