LensCrafters - Boca Raton

I brought in a prescription from a different eye glass place to buy
glasses. Lenscrafters had the largest selection of frames, and I am happy
with my designer eyewear, but it is quite expensive after all is said
and done. There are better deals elsewhere, but you may have to settle
for a smaller selection.

I arrived at the appointment and was taken to the exam room on time. The exam was thorough and Dr. Maule explained everything very clearly. She told me that at age 43, I needed no-line bifocals. I agreed and walked out to the sales room to choose my new frames. The staff was very helpful and I chose frames that were on the clearance rack. I paid for the glasses and was told that they would be ready in 10 days. 9 days later I received a call that my glasses were ready so I picked them up. Because I had never worn bifocals, I was taught how to use them and told that it will take a few days to get used to them. After 2 weeks, I was still unable to use my glasses for reading so I went back to the store. I was given another lesson on how to use bifocals and sent on my way. Another 2 weeks passed and I still could not use my glasses for reading. I went back to the store and explained my problem. The sales person took me back into an exam room and explained my issues to Dr. Maule. I was given another brief exam and told that I do not need bifocals. My glasses were sent back and the lens was changed to single vision. I received a refund for the difference on my credit card. Everyone was very nice during the process but I was not pleased that I had to go back to the store several times to get the correct glasses.

The optometrist that saw me was Claire Pizzimenti.
Their office is a retail setting, so not separate place to wait. I don't buy glasses there but do get my prescription. Dr. Pizzimenti spends time and shows real interest in my vision and eye health. I go for her, not the others, and will return.

i called ahead to make sure they took my father ins and made an appointment. my father is not able to walk much so it is a big deal to take him places. i did not know that this place was in a mall and it took us awhile to walk to the store. after arriving we were told they didnt take my fathers ins, the doctor that accepts his ins wasnt scheduled that day. we were very upset and my father was exhausted. they did not seem to care that this was h****** my father. we went to sears optical and they saw him right away...

They charged me double for everything. They are great with their services but the people up front kept trying to charge me more.

I like them very much. It was the third of fourth time I have repeated my yearly visit with them. I like the particular office because they have the latest equipment and they are accommodating. They take you on time and the doctor is very pleasant. It is just a good experience to go there.

They are convenient with appointments, eye exam and selection of glasses with regards to the frames. I have never had to wait. I would use them again in the future.
