Kenaco Development Corp Inc

Work started ok. But within days of finioshing and getting paid, the new concrete started cracking and comming loose. It took a couple of weeks of calls before they responded. Kenaco sent a worker out and he chipped up and removed all of the loose areas of concrete. That was the last we ever saw of Kenaco. My pool deck and walkway are still torn up. Many certified letters to Kenaco, BBB, Fla. Department of Professional Regulation and also Kenaco's insurance company brought no results. My patio and walkway look horrible. The salesperson John Barrett says he no longer works for Kenaco. The owner of Kenaco, Kenneth Ferruggia never once even responded. Ripped off for $4000.00 by Kenaco. Dont ever do business with Kenaco, Kenneth Feruggia or John Barrett. They are just crooks.

I paid him half the money, returned to my house 3 months later, and none of the work was done.  He requested more money, which was not happening.  I gave him plenty of money to purchase the materials.  He was so bad that his SUB-CONTRACTOR actually told me not to have him any more money basically because he was a rip-off.  His sub-contractor told me that he was no longer going to work for him.  I was able to eventually get the job done with this company.  The sub-contractor did great quality work.

My paragraph above pretty much explains what happened, except for this: I'm truly happy to report that my experience with Kenaco has been one of the very best I've had with ANY home improvement company, anywhere! I called Kenaco because I found them on Angie's List. I was feeling totally despondent because I had been trying to get my patio project going for about 4 weeks but have had one issue after the next with other companies that disappointed me. (They either didn't show up or were late or rude  etc.) What is amazing is that I called Kenaco and spoke with John on Thursday, June 16th. We set up an appointment for the next morning when John and his associate came over to inspect the patio. (It looked awful.) They were very professional and gave me some suggestions on the materials and colors that would work. John wrote out a proposal, and I was so impressed that I signed it and gave him a deposit on the spot. He scheduled his guy Alex to come out and start the job on Saturday morning, and the rest is history! MY ENTIRE PATIO IS ALREADY COMPLETED AND LOOKING BEAUTIFUL TODAY, JUNE 19TH! From start to finish, this job (that I couldn't get done for 4 weeks prior) was completed by Kenaco within 3 days. AMAZING! It just goes to show that when people are professional, they can make it happen. This company also screens in patios and remodels bathrooms and kitchens. They will certainly get my business from now on!

I've actually used them several times (shutters and impact windows) , but I still shopped around.  They beat the next best estimate by $2500.  They did such a good job.  They finished in less time than they estimated-- they said it would take a month, but it only took two weeks.  It came out beautifully.  No surprises.  The inspector came out and said it looked great.  They also have English-speaking employees. 

Kenaco provided full service in one easy stop. They completed my project in a timely and cost effective manner. My home was in dire need of help due to environmental concerns and quite frankly my neglect over the years.

Overall the installation went well. I have no complaints.

The installation went extremely well. The installers and product was everything I hoped for. I have since sold the investment property in Delray .

It seems to be a lot of money... but I was shopping around for a while and they came in last and beat everybody else after showing them the estimates I already had. I did some research on the product/window they offered and made sure it met code... anyways, the permit took longer than expected (but I called the building department and was told that all the paperwork was submitted on time and that it simply takes the Building Department a while to review and approve it) but the installation, was fast, clean and without delays. Excellent job!

Kenaco was easy to deal with. They were professional and the prices were extremely competitive. They met schedules. I eventually sold the property and as far as I know the new owners have experienced no problems with the product or workmanship. I would recomend them highly.
