Company far exceeded the original quote. The cost went from just under $5,000 to over $7,000. I had already paid a large deposit and would have lost that $1400+ deposit if I had cancelled on the day of the pick-up (which is when the cost was adjusted). Delivery was supposed to occur in 7-14 days according to the pick-up crew. Delivery was made on July 26, 2021 (more than one month from pick-up date of June 25, 2021. Communication was not the best during the waiting period between pick-up and delivery. One hour prior to pick-up I was informed I had to pay the balance (about $2700) with cash or money order. No prior warning. Note that New Leaf is operating basically as a broker. The company that picked up and made the delivery was US Best Movers, Inc. My dissatisfaction is primarily with New Leaf, although US Best Movers did not deliver in the time frame provided at pick-up.
