About us

* I am an experienced math tutor from Michigan, serving Boca Raton and Delray Beach, FL. * I offer private, personal, one-on-one tutoring in a fun, casual environment! * I tutor grades 6-12 mathematics, as well as college math and computer/internet skills. * I'm very personable, fun and outgoing. Learning with me is like learning with a friend! * I've taught mathematics as an adjunct professor at Palm Beach State College. * I passed the Florida Teaching Certification Exam (FTCE), qualifying me to teach math at the middle and high school level. * My available tutoring hours are as early as 12:30pm and as late as 2am * I offer in-home tutoring at no additional cost. * I am setup to tutor international and out-of-state students via Skype, or local students who are on vacation or outside the in-home tutoring range and unable to meet at a local venue. * I accept Cash, Checks, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and BitCoin.

I'm very pleased with the progress my daughter has made since working with Dave. She has grown leaps and bounds since she started her math tutoring sessions. Her confidence has increased and she enjoys math so much more than she did before. As a parent, I am thrilled my daughter is doing so well. My daughter says that his approach to tutoring, his professionalism, and his engaging personality make math fun. I am fully satisfied with happy, fun tutor guy and would highly recommend him. He is professional, supportive, and quick to respond to emails / texts.

Dave has been working with CiCi on her trig/pre-calculus course since last September. He also spent months tutoring her for the math portion of the SAT. He has been beyond outstanding. CiCi had never had a tutor before Dave so we didn't know what to expect. He's been a savior to our family. The nightly school arguments are no longer :). Wish we had known about him and tutoring sooner. Dave is gifted in all areas of math and does a perfect job of explaining everything in a fun and easy-to-comprehend manner. He speaks perfect "teen" and CiCi looks forward to seeing him each week. A lot of CiCi's friends use Dave, as well, and they also love him. The kids all travel for tennis and Dave can Skype them anywhere and at anytime with whatever questions they have. He's been an A+ across the board for us! CiCi will be using him next year for AP Calculus. He might have to go to college with her!!

Dave helped me with my FTCE math portion and was an excellent help. I failed the first test so decided I needed some extra help, I saw Dave for a few session and then passed on my second attempt. Great help, especially for someone who hates math as much as I do!!!

We initially contacted Dave because my daughter was moved into pre-algebra during her 7th grade year a month into the semester and we felt she needed a boost to catch up. Not only did Dave help her to catch up--she excelled. Dave is very flexible with his schedule--as long as he doesn't have another student in that space, he will make it work; even if he can't give us the exact time we wanted he comes up with a list of possible other times. He will also extend sessions if requested--when she has an important test coming up, my daughter will spend 3 hours or more with Dave going through everything. He is patient, low-key, clearly loves math, enjoys his job, is very easy to talk to (for parents and students), and knows how to easily convey complicated ideas. I could not have asked for a more perfect math tutor.

David is a very professional tutor with lots of experience in math….he has a very unique way of teaching which made it fun and easy for my daughter…she was not bored in the least!!…….he understands children in a way that makes them feel comfortable and he seems to put himself at their level….i was very pleased at the way my daughter spoke of him especially after numerous tutors she experienced…..

i would highly recommend him for any child who is struggling with math…...
