+ -1 moreThey were very professional and did an excellent job. They even come with a warranty for services performed and will take out the system and re install the factory for free when I get a new car. Definitely going back in future!

+ -1 moreIt didn't happen because they were way to expensive. I ended up researching the installation on you tube & bought the equipment from criutchfield. The staff was un friendly & it takes them a long time to answer the phone. Ever since circuit city went out of business, best buy customer service has gone downhill!

Description of Work: This review is about the service provided to my by the "Geek Squad" automobile electronics installation experts at the Boca Raton Best Buy store. I purchased a radar/laser detector elsewhere as recommended to me by the automobile dealership where I recently purchased my new vehicle. I was advised by my auto dealer to call either Pep Boys or Best Buy to have it installed. I called several area Pep Boys locations and none would install any product that they did not sell. Next, I called several area Best Buy locations. All which had on-site Geek Squad auto electronics installation experts said they would do it. I called several locations prior to calling the Boca Raton store, and each quoted me over the phone approximately $200. Furthermore, each said they were book for at least a week due to the Holidays and would need one appointment to see the device and my car to determine how much time would be needed for the install, and to provide an exact price quote. Technicians at the store closest to where I live finally met with me and quote me $175, and estimated 3-4 hours for the upcoming installation appointment would would not be for at least one week. When I called and spoke with the technicians at the Boca Raton store, they said I could time at any time at my convenience and they would be able to provide an price quote and time needed for the install. I was there within one hour of this telephone consultation, and within 20 minutes of seeing the device and my vehicle, they offered to do it for $40, said they would need an you and a half at most, and said they would take me immediately. Furthermore, their whole approach, during this this simple, inexpensive process has been 100% professional, respectful, and thus far the device has been function perfectly.
