It was very good. They did everything they said they were going to do. They showed up on time, were personable and cleaned up before they left. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Dan showed up to do the estimate within two days of my contact. He spent a significant amount of time measuring. Other contractors actually just sat in their cars to calculate an estimate. I actually requested a specific paint as I have had very good luck with it in the past. It's expensive.
Miljce, the owner of the business came by with Dan the day after the contract was delivered and spent time going over the job with me. We negotiated a little, signed a contract and they were on the job in a week. Because the paint job that was done previously was high quality, they actually suggested one coat of a $50/gallon paint/primer vs primer then two coats of the yellow paint. The paint has a longer warranty and they obviously saved time. This actually reduced the contract $1,000! They certainly didn't have to recommend something that actually reduced their gross income! The final price was actually 1/2 of what I paid 8 years ago for more work.
If you subtracted the time when it was raining (this is Florida in the summer) they actually finished ahead of schedule. They didn't damage any of the landscaping. They moved what needed to be moved. Cleaned up each day. Showed up with 2-5 painters each day. Didn't spill any paint. Cut in all the windows, doors, and trim very cleanly. Expert work!They also offer a rather long warranty on the paint and their work. I received 3 bids on this job. One offered only one coat of paint for about the same price. He happens to be very highly rated by Angie's List. When asked about two coats of paint, he told me I did not need it! The gentleman who sat in his car was much less expensive, but he only offered 1 coat of paint. When asked for 2 coats, his price came up. All three were about the same when all is said and done. I work in real estate as a developer and buyer's agent. I have many, high-net-worth clients who are always asking me about sub-contractors. I will be suggesting they use First Choice from now on.
