"Thank you so much for the nice review."

"Thanks for the very nice feedback. It was a pleasure to work with you!"
On the day of the service he showed up and took a look at the job. What I initially wanted done was crap compared to what these guys did. They did a fantastic job. They were very professional and treated my home with care. They were friendly and did an awesome job.
I am glad I found some folks in this area I can trust to do electric and data work.

If you're looking for the best electrical contractor in the area, you can stop right here...
James is knowledgeable, professional and remarkable. He does beautiful work, is a great guy and a very
hard worker. You won't be disappointed - Devine Electrical is as good as it gets!"Thanks for the great review! We look forward to working with you in the future."
James and his helper Abner were fantastic. All work was high quality, on time, UNDER budget! I know but its true - James passed along savings from his cheaper than expected hardware parts to me at the end of job. You just don't find honesty like this much anymore. I simply love the upgrades that James told me would make my new kitchen remodel really shine. I love all the under cabinet lights are very unusual - a thin strip of tape is all you see. The new LED can lights overhead give us much better lighting for cooking and reading recipes than we ever had before. I highly recommend this company and James is awesome.

James Devine and his employee were very professional and punctual, and their attention to detail is exceptional. I will definitely recommend them and call them again. Thank you James for everything you did and for making our kitchen remodeling experience a joyful experience.
"Thanks [member name removed] for the nice review. We enjoyed working with you too and look forward to helping you in the future with any electrical needs!"
After having James Devine come out and do the work at our home, we both felt it necessary to let those on Angie's List know about the wonderful experience we had using this company. We did not realize James Devine Electrical was on Angie's List until we decided to write this review and now that we see all the reviews are "A's", we understand why those who have reviewed the company gave him such high praise.
James Devine is a professional, knowledgeable, reliable and honest electrician. He resolved a number of electrical issues we needed corrected and each one was done to our complete satisfaction. He offers great service and reasonable prices for the work he performs. If you are looking for a company doing quality electrical work and offering great service at reasonable prices, you should call James Devine Electrical.
This guy is the real deal when it comes to getting the job done right and for that reason, we both are confident we will refer James Devine Electrical to anyone we know and care about whenever the need arises. Thanks for all the great work you did both inside and outside our residence but especially for resolving the mystery issue we encountered regarding the clothes dryer.
"A referral to family or good friends is always the highest compliment and It is great to know our work is appreciated! Good to meet you both. Thank you so much for the fantastic review."
come out ASAP. Met me first thing in the morning on the requested day.
Quickly found the fault (where I could have never found it). He was in
and out quickly, did great work. Could not be happier. Price was
extremely reasonable. Class AAA service. I will recommend him to all friends and family.
"Thanks (member name removed) for the review. I am happy to have been able to help!"
Jim came out the next day, delaying another appointment because mine was more critical due to the heat and lack of AC. Jim was well-prpared, having everything on the truck to complete the job in just half a day.
Once again, I highly recommend Devine Electric and Data.
I very highly recommend Devine Electric and Data.
I researched on Angie's List under the topic "electrical" and looked for providers near our area. I read all the reviews for all of them, and called about a dozen of them that seemed to be able to meet our needs. I was able to get ahold of the owner, James Devine, immediately, and we set up an appointment. He was right on time, and I smiled when he walked into my house with his socks! He had taken off his shoes and left them on the front stoop before he knocked on the door! He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and able to answer my list of questions in a way that I could understand.
Although my husband was home, I had taken on the task of vetting providers, and James Devine was very patient with me (electrical things are not my forte). The majority of the other providers that came out to give me an estimate clearly did not want to communicate with a female, and none was as polite and friendly as James. He showed me photos of work he had done, so we could see what a finished product would look like. His suggestions were excellent, and he was the most thorough provider I interviewed. We definitely wanted someone with attention to detail to do our electrical work, so we felt that James was perfect for the job.
I also wanted the work done by the same person who I interviewed. For the majority of the other providers, I would have a great person come out, who I felt understood what we wanted, but then we found out that someone else would be coming out to do the work. James quoted and did the work himself, so we felt confident that we were getting the benefit of his experience and knowledge, and that he was not sending out an $8 an hour employee to do the work we wanted to make sure was done right.
Then the next stage was to receive an estimate and discuss his availability to schedule the work. The majority of the other providers needed to go back to their offices before they could give me an estimate, and then I waited up to a week to get the estimates back. James was able to provide an estimate on the spot and he clearly showed interest in wanting to do a good job and furthering his reputation on Angie's List. That was good to hear, because that is a main purpose for me using Angie's list. We were able to schedule the work for a mutually convenient day and time. Because I had interviewed so many electrical providers, I knew that James' estimate was competitive. Then he took another 10% off to nail the job, because we were Angie's list members.
James personally confirmed the appointment the day before, and answered our questions about how to keep our fish tank functioning with the electric off. James remembered to bring an extra long extension cord to run electric to our fish tank from the outside line, because otherwise the fish would all die during the time it would take to complete the work.
James worked diligently the entire day and did not leave for lunch - he brought healthy snacks for himself. James continued to answer questions throughout the day, from both my husband and myself, on things that came up. James focused on our job exclusively, and we always felt that he had our best interest at heart for the decisions that had to be made. For example, he placed a thick drop cloth below his work area, so that any debris or small metal parts would not get strewn about or make a mess.
The work took longer than he expected, because the circuit panel and our wires were so old, and James stayed into the early evening to get it done. He did not charge any extra for the extra time it took - he honored his estimate.
When he was done, we couldn't believe how organized the inside of the new panel looked with the new wires and new breakers. See the "after" photo. When we saw the inside of the old circuit panel, after the old breakers and wires had been removed, we saw how there were charred areas that were apparently from when our breakers had popped. See the photo of the inside of the old panel. We were blessed we never had a fire.
Before James left, he made sure to check each breaker to find out which part of the house applied to each one, and he neatly labeled them all. Some of them had been oddly organized back in the 70's, so it was great to find out which areas of the house correlated to which breakers. He also cleaned up after he left, even though it had been a long day. He never once complained about the humidity and kept a positive and polite attitude the entire time. We noticed that he took special care to put everything back in his truck in an organized fashion, and didn't just throw everything in a pile. James also took the time to take apart the parts of our old panel that could be recycled, and didn't just throw everything away.
Clearly, James Devine has a superb work ethic and he really loves what he does. We didn't feel that we had a service person in our home all day; it was more like we had a skilled craftsman who really cared about what he was doing. He is someone who is welcome in our home. We have more electrical work that needs to be done, and we will definitely be using James Devine!
"Thanks so much for taking the time to write such a detailed review and for posting the before and after photos of your electrical panel. We are so glad to hear that you are happy with the work!"
"Thanks so much [member name removed]. It was a pleasure working for you and [member name removed]."
P.S. As a new member, this is my second great Angie's List experience in one month!
