Upon closer inspection, I realized Vince had installed the entire kitchen WITHOUT any of the fillers!!! Filler pieces and skins lying on the floor unused. The cabinets banging in to walls and other panels!!! Yikes! Countertops had been measured, floors cut and installed around the bases, holes cut for electric and plumbing!!! Disaster!!
I kept asking him why all these extra pieces were laying around and he just kept telling me Home Depot doesn't know what they are doing. But I ordered and paid for all the pieces and was pretty sure they all had locations in the installation footprint as I had gone over the list many times severl months ago.
I was able to stop the fabricators from cutting the countertops, but floors and cabinets were wrecked to say the least.
But Mr. Vince Connors of Creations Unlimited did NOT own up to his mistakes, didn't even apologize. In fact, he has been a total jerk about the whole thing. I asked him to return the $1000 and he blew me off. He is responsible for all of this and has been completely unprofessional. I'm on a deadline with this house due to medical issues, but in his mind it is OK to "no show" the client, delay the project, show up when he feels like it, and competely screw up the project without regard.
Do not ever let this man work on your kitchen, bath or cabinet projects. He is arrogant, condescending, unprofessional, and he doesn't even know how lousy he is at installing cabinets. Or even worse, how bad he is at client management. It's just been a total nightmare repairing the damage he has done, financially and emotionally.
